We stayed here after visiting Paronella Park. Good, clean, comfortable accommodation. Norma was lovely and there is a nice big garden you can wander around. Within walking distance of the Hotel and Paronella Park.

Our family of 5 (including three sons, aged 15, 13 and 10) stayed overnight at Mena Creek Eco Gardens following a day visiting Paronella Park. Norma and Stuart have thought of everything to make a stay here comfortable. The rooms are spotlessly clean, the bathrooms are huge and the hosts are so friendly. The rooms include basic, but well equipped...

We drove to Innisfail to see Paronella Park and wanted to stay the night to do the night walk. We looked at staying at the pub but were worried about the noise. The Eco Gardens was just up the road. We just drove up and met the owners out the front and verbally booked the room. The room was comfortable...

It was very hard to get in touch with the owners, as the number on the old web page had the wrong information. We eventually got the right contact details from the Mena Creek Hotel! We ended up in a queen bed unit at the Eco Gardens which was very spacious. Price was good at $80 per night, and the...

Another trip from Cairns down to see Paronella Park. Stayed at the Eco gardens overnight as we did 4 years ago (pre my trip advisor blogging). Again a very nice stay at a good price. Booked both rooms, 1 with double and single, the other with just a double. I generally prefer my King beds, or queen size at a...

Stopped here whilst visiting Paronella Park. Only accommodation with en-suite in the area. I support all previous comments. If visiting Mena again would definitely stay here. Be sure to take a walk through the grounds with your morning cuppa.

We were visiting Paronella Park again, so once again we rang Stuart and Norma to see about accommodation. Eco Gardens is fantastic, it is a wheelchair friendly motel, that is spotlessly clean and has an ensuite, and everything you need to make your stay comfortable. Will definitely stay again. Very good value for money, and perfect hosts in Stuart and...

We came up to Paronella Park to do the day and night tours. There was 4 of us (Mum,wife, daughter and me) and we stayed here. Very neat and tidy rooms! And he let us stay in one room, a little cosy but hey we are family :) The people here were very nice and helpful. I would recommend staying here....

We travelled to Cairns for the Total Solar Eclipse of November 2012 and stayed 2 nights in Mena Creek in the days before the eclipse. We can't speak highly enough about the accommodation at Mena Creek Eco Garden. The hosts, Norma and Stuart, made sure our stay was exceptionally pleasant (including taking care of doing the dishes!). Their knowledge of...
