We stayed 2 nights here and loved it! So sweet and homey. The owner has canoes he let us use out on the river just behind the cabins. Great views, too! Also hot tub and fire pits available. Many hiking locations around the area as well. Reasonably priced and the owners are very accommodating.

My husband and I stayed here last summer, and we truly enjoyed it. Fishing is a big priority for us, so the access to Green Mtn. Res. was nice. The nearby hike to Lower Caterach Lake was outstanding. We stayed in a larger cabin that was a bit rustic, but very peaceful and cozy. When we get the chance, we...

We did not stay in the hotel since we camped nearby, but we took a boat tour with Dale. He was kind, patient, and friendly with my exuberant children. He took us all over the reservoir and allowed us to fulfill all of our hopes for activities on the boat. He is also very knowledgeable about the area. Due to...

I felt very welcome upon my arrival. The little 300 ft cabin sat closest to the river and I enjoyed the solitude. The other guests were kind and respectful. I really enjoyed my stay and the cabin met all my needs. The best part of the trip was my adventure to Cateract Lake. I was the only person there for...

We have been up to Melody Lodge Cabins twice now. The first time we stayed in Cabin C and the only minor complaint we have is the rates are a little too high for that cabin. As far as the ventilation goes as stated in the post below, we kept the kitchen window open and the door open while we...

This was our second visit. We were a large group of 8 ranging from 2 years old to 65 years old and stayed in adjoining cabins. We brought along our 2 year old granddaughter and two dogs. The cabins were clean, well stocked and decorated with interesting art and antiques. There were even washers and dryers in each cabin! We...

This is a very nice place to stay. If you are looking for luxurious, this is not the place for you, but it was very comfortable, very clean, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There was room to park the boat, the reservoir and the river were right there within short distance for fishing, and Silverthorne was within driving distance...

Not only did we have mouse droppings on the window sills (I can only imagine where else they could have been) there were bugs in the kitchen! Our cabin was hot and stuffy and the windows would not open so we couldn't get any ventilation. They had one tiny plastic fan which was not very effective. Power went out but...

I am so sorry that Terri B and her husband were not happy with their visit to our cabin. I truly wish they had told us while they were here - we live here and were here during their whole visit, except the couple hours we went to town to dinner. The cabin is an old structure and we are...

We were exhausted after a two week western road trip. We wanted to take a few days to wind down and relax before our flight home, and this was the perfect place. I called to see if there was an available cabin for the weekend, and when she said yes, we asked for directions. She waited up for us and...
