When I say "everyone" was kind and friendly I mean EVERYONE treated us like family. Staff: #1, food: #1, environment: #1. We felt safe and protected at all times. The people are so kind. We had a lot of privacy. It's definitely for adults only. That was perfect for us. The staff will help set up any kind of activity...

The Service we received here was fantastic. Starting at the airport at Montego Bay, all during the stay, and the return back to the airport. The shuttle driver (Peter) met us at the airport like it was all planned. Peter has his own shuttle company, and was set up for us by Coral Cove. It was about a (2) hour...

You know the saying "Treat your guests like family and your family like guests"? Well Coral Cove takes this to a whole other level. Spending 8 days here can only be topped by getting to do it again.Owner Steve and his wife Margaret, along with the staff, have created an atmosphere of relaxation and pampering. If you are looking for something a bit more secluded, this is your spot. it was peaceful, staff was very friendly, clean rooms and grounds. The food was tasty and prepared to order. Gorgeous views, we stayed in Doctor Bird, which had 360 views of the Sea and mountains, The night sky was unbelievable, so many starts.

My husband and I chose Coral Cove for our 35th anniversary trip. We have never been to Jamaica before, and rarely travel, but wanted to avoid the big resorts. We could not have asked for a better vacation…our best yet! Peter picked us up from the airport and drove us back to Coral Cove. From the minute we arrived, I...

We took our daughter for her Senior graduation trip and our son and daughter-in-law. It was like having your own private resort. You did not have to fight the crowds. The staff was there for all our needs. The food was wonderful - never had a bad meal and would serve according to food preferences. There was many activities available...

The service was slow. The rooms were not the best. Not even really as clean as I expected from a resort and spa. The food was not up to my expectations. I practically avoided eating. The staff was friendly, with an exception of a selected few. They were not accommodating. they were not entertaining. the "beach" wasn't clean. Absolutely stay...

Starting at the airport, Peter our driver was right on time. He took us over the mountain road to the resort, considering the conditions of the roads-he was an excellent driver and all around nice guy-he stopped at a Jerk shack on the way, it was great. Arriving at the resort we were greeted by most of the staff. Everyone...

We are not experienced travelers, but we did not rent a car. It's a 45+ minute drive from the airport. Very skinny roads, many bikes. I'm glad we didn't drive. Peter will pick you up and deliver you safely to Coral Cove. Peter will take you where you need to go, and stay there, then take you home. We never felt unsafe, but there are questionable areas you drive through. We talked to another couple who rented a car, and wished they hadn't. The driver needs to be paid in cash. US dollars are fine.

In all honesty it doesn't make sense not to do the all inclusive at the Cove. The meals are better than anything else you will get anywhere in Jamaica. And, there is nothing else around restaurant wise unless you rent a car ( which I wouldnt recommend if you're a first timer). Carlos or another taxi driver can take you anywhere but if you aren't there for a meal the ladies will pack you one if you ask in advance. Beer, wine and liquor is cheap in Jamaicai. . Ice however, is at a premium....

Hi Billie,

Coral Cove is a magical, wonderful place. You will love it. If you are renting the main house you will wake up to the smell of home cooked breakfast like you've never had before! I am jealous!

To answer your questions, yes you would be sharing the beach with any other guests at the Cove during that time. There is not a pool on the property but The Blue Hole, a ten minute ride down the street does have one along with a bar and cooked to order jerk chicken. You really don't need to hire a driver in advance. The Cove has two wonderful, reliable gentleman who drive for them - Carlos and Peter. I have Carlos phone number and can even contact him for you or give you his information.

How old is the group you are going with? Footing can be a tad dicey in some places so good shoes are a must. I absolutely LOVE the Cove and would be happy to answer any other questions for you. Feel free to ask away!

It's not in Negril, it's in this excellent little community about half an hour drive from Negril (seems more remote) called Little Bay where you'll have an authentic Jamaican experience and connect with local people. They can arange to take you into Negril but I'm not sure how much it costs, I can't imagine it's expensive but if it's something you're going to do every day you should stay in Negril. There aren't white sand beaches but there aren't the hassles/hustlers either.

They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner but it's not a restaurant with a menu where you make your own selection, it's a set daily menu and they'll ask if there is anything you don't like or are allergic to and take that into consideration when they prepare your meals. They have a full bar where you can order whatever you like all day/night.

Hope this helps, enjoy your trip!
