Attended a wedding here. The surroundings and the view was beautiful. From inside the chapel you can see the treetops from a huge eindow at the altar. Even though its close to the road, you csnt heree it from the property.

We were on our way to Mt. Tambourine for the weekend, and, suddenly saw the signs of Hilltop on Tamborine, didn't know what to expect but we entered the premises as we wanted a cup of coffee....lo and behold....what a beautiful place it is! Totally out of this world, everything is so artistic, so immaculate, so beautifully decorated. We met... More

My partner surprised me with a trip here.. WOW. What an incredible surprise. From the front of the building it is deceiving as it appears to just be an art gallery / cafe. But the bedrooms (i think theres only 3) are just off the main hallway and they are such a surprise. The bedroom was not small by any... More

Very nice rooms, cute cottage feeling. Fantastic views. Overlooking gold coast when weather permits. Quite and cosy with beautiful spa bath, with views into forest. Balcony access from room. Delicious well priced breakfast.

A very pleasant room, comfy bed all in lovely surroundings including a lovely old chapel. The hostess was attentive and helpful. The room was well appointed but is not self sufficient, just tea and coffee making facilities. The place has a lovely breakfast menu. We would recommend this place to stay.

We stopped in randomly and were so pleasantly surprised. The service was quick, the food was absolutely delicious and the view was stunning. It would make a beautiful wedding venue. We had the teriyaki chicken and teriyaki salmon. So scrumptious.

A hidden gem not far from the bustle of the Gold Coast. Beautifully kept Reastaurant with sweeping views of the Coast and hinterland and interesting local art to match. A lovely Finnish couple who are the owners provide excellent company and go out of their way to provide local knowledge. The accompanying small chapel, used for weddings, adds to the... More

Our room was very clean and the shower had very good pressure. The meals were absolutely wonderful. The bed was so comfy. Hilltop hosts could not do enough to make our stay an enjoyable one. Will definitely go back for another stay.

My 3rd visit so far, since July, 2013. Lucky enough this time to be there during an art exhibition by Maki Horanai. Beautiful, allegorical pieces. Once again, excellent care and hospitality by our hosts. We were a bit anti-social, as we were there for relaxation. We like cabins. Others may prefer full-on bedrooms. I am sure we will return. I... We didn't eat at the cafe because we had already eaten, but will do so next time we are in the area...as the dining area was very appealing with superb views all the way to Gold Coast City's skyline. The gallery in the main house and the church on the hill was exhibiting paintings and ceramic pieces by Maki Horanai,... More
