We stayed 1 night at the lidia. the place is quite nice, but don't expect anything from you hosts. when we wanted to cook our food we've been kicked out the kitchen in the rudest way ever. thus, we ended up feeding our meat to the dogs and eating our vegetables raw. I would definitly NOT recommend it!

I stayed here overnight in August 2017 with a group students. The owners were welcoming and helpful. The central courtyard area is relaxing and cool during the heat of the day. Tye rooms and bathroom ares were fine for an overnight stay. The location is a short walk from the a number of restaurants, bars, central piazza area, etc. I...

The rooms are set around a very lovely garden, and the ladies who run the place are quite nice. But the rooms have drop ceilings - nice for ambience, really bad for circulation, so it was really hot and couldn't cool down. The fan was set permanently on rotate :-( I don't know if I would stay again. Maybe.

A warm welcome greeted us by the trio of ladies who run a clean, organized hostel on the highway side of town. Being away from the hustle and bustle meant a quiet night. Fans, spotless bathrooms constantly cleaned, quiet garden seating.

We arrived late and were greeted by three older ladies who let us in and showed us to a room and around the hostel. You get the impression that you don't mess around here or you will face the wrath that only a grandma can deliver (ear pulling, cuff off the head... that sort of stuff). Don't let that deter...

We had been looking foreward to stay at Lidias place. Apart from a nice area with a couple of hammocks the accomodation was disappointing. The kitchen was not for common use, I was not even allowed to boil water for a tea ;(!!! The manager/owner was mostly on the sofa and seemed really bored of the guests. To many rooms...

When I made a stopover in Rivas on the way from the Costa Rican border to the Ometepe Island, I stayed at Lidia's mostly because it was conveniently located, just a block off the main road; one of the first things you see once you turn off the main road toward the old city. This is a one of those...

I spent 1 night at Hospedaje Lidia. I liked the group of ladies managing the place like sisters. Its more of a homestay although they don't provide breakfast or other meals. The night for a single room with fan without bathroom is 10 usd. 18 for a double without bathroom, 24 with bathroom. The whole place is spotless. If you...
