Awesome front desk service entertain us late night check in during peak weekend. We managed to get Suite room after someone else cancel that night, and we have checked 5 hotels fully book prior to that. Thanks for our memorable stay.

The moment I checked into the room saw the floor still wet meaning the staff did mop the floor. I glad because I already read some bad review about this hotel. Staff are doing their duty well. If the hotel can upgrade the basic amenities that would be much better.

Arrived to this hotel in the evening and managed to found a parking with the help of the security personal. I understand the hotel has more than 150 rooms and located nicely on a hill, next to night market, a park and an open stage next door. . Here's my two cents of my experience with Garden View Betong Hotel:- What’s best about this hotel 1. Clean - the hotel, the room and the surrounding. 2. Free WiFi. It was not so good in my room and I guess it depends on how far of your room from the WiFi router. 3. Reasonable price comparing to others and considering it is the Chinese New Year peak season 4. The air-condition in the room was powerful. 5. Room is spacious! Room for improvements 1. Provide leaflet highlighting Betong attractions. 2. Provide kettle/ thermal flask / hair dryer in the room. 3. Complimentary coffee & tea in the room 4. One of the bed was quite old, considering changing it perhaps? Hotel location and surrounding 1. Google Map showed correct location to this hotel 2. It was a leisure walk to the park, Betong Mongkollit Tunnel, Kuan Im Temple and town 3. You can reach tuk-tuk easily as they often park just outside the hotel 4. Worry about where to eat? I found it was really convenient as there were so many shops nearby and a night market in front of this hotel, all within 1-2 minute walk. There is an all-you-can-eat BBQ restaurant just down the road.

Fairly ok compare to other hotels like Merlin ... room spacious though... a bit pricey for Malaysian due to the fall of ringgit currency... western breakfast provided for rm5... per head .. a bit dull.. Ok for first timers...

Very sorry, truly disappointed. Paid RM105 or 905 Baht for one night. Worst hotel ever. We put up at this hotel as another hotel nearby was fully booked. Very old hotel. Corridor to room very dark. Window ledge damaged. Changed to another room and the toilet plumbing has problem. Then at night, we realised the old shower heater has no hot water, had cold shower instead and after we went down to lobby to complained (room telephone not functioning), staff came and they found out someone/previous customer may have switched off the heater switch which was hidden at the bottom of the heater!!! Door to toilet can't even close properly, no shower curtain, only broken railing. Can hear conversations very clearly from the next toilet in the next room. There was no hair dryer in the room. Only given 2 towels, no hand towels, no toothpaste, No kettle to boil hot water. Only 2 Miserable small pieces of thin soap and sachet of shampoo only.
