This is a terrible property. It might be the best Betong can do but it is not much better than a backpacker's accommodation. The rooms were dirty, the sink in the bathroom had strands of long hair in it (I'm bald). There was mold on the shower walls. Maybe I'm asking too much but I expected better.

Everytime I went to Betong, this is the place where I will stay. The tranquil surrounding, flowing river and cheap but cosy rooms attracts me the most. But one thing that I hate is that.. other uncivilised guests.. once they were drunk, they will start shouting, tone up the music to the max, dance and making noises that spoilt everything. The staff were not so keen to prevent such ignorances and telling these guests to tone down their noise will only get into trouble. One may say it was just a one time issue..but I have been there 4 times.. and it happened twice. If only the management could prevent such thing, this place would be way much better

The landscaping and layout of the hotel was wonderful and relaxing. The only drawback was the droppings from ceiling (ants, dust and bits of material). Otherwise a lovely place for a relaxing getaway. We had a lanai area which overlooked the river which was great.

Like all nature lovers, this is a perfect getaway place. Surrounded by lush foliage and running river, it's most suitable for families or high pressured executives who are looking for some quiet time to de- stress.
