We stayed here two nights. This hotel is two floors with no elevators. We were on the second floor and had a courtyard room so no window. This meant no street noise while trying to sleep. It was quite quiet until about 7am when you can hear noises downstairs as they start to get ready for breakfast. Our room did...

We stayed here for one week at the beginning of December, before the high tourist season starts in mid-month, and had the benefit of Campeche's excellent music festival. Good points are that it is an interesting original building on two floors retaining many original features and is only a two minute walk to the main cathedral square. The breakfast is...

This hotel is old. Being old has its charm and it has its "old". Walking into the lobby & common areas of this hotel takes you back at least 100 years. The grandeur and victorian craftsmanship is quite beautiful. The original encaustic floor and wall tile is simply beautiful. Our room was upstairs where there is a lovely columned balcony...

Started circling the square looking for a place to stay. Saw a secure lot and pulled in and was immediately greeted by a member of the hotel staff. Rooms were on the small size but well done and well maintained. Open court yard and handpainted floor tiles gave the place a great colonial feel. Small pool was welcome relief at...

So much more than I expected. Great price, clean, helpful staff, fantastic location. The pictures online don't do this hotel justice. I played it down before we got there but was thrilled upon arrival. Staff gave great restaurant suggestions and we could walk to everything Campeche has to offer.

We just stayed one night here and although our room was rather gloomy as it looked out into an internal courtyard, everything was beautifully presented in the room and spotlessly clean. The hotel had a lot of character but the biggest pleasure was the charming and efficient staff. Breakfast was a pleasure. Everyone so pleasant and eager to please.

This hotel is full of historic character and is in a very good location close to the town centre. There is free parking nearby. The rooms are comfortable but still have old world charm, with tiled floors and high ceilings. The staff are friendly and helpful and the breakfast in the central courtyard was fine. I can't recall the name,...

First a confession. We were upgraded to a larger room which was great. The hotel itself has plenty of old colonial charm and the staff were very attentive. We stayed for four nights which seemed to be unusual - it was mainly one night touring groups. We used the pool a couple of times and it was fine although you're...

Great looking hotel, old style. Nice room, well English speaking and nice staff at the front desk. Muskito net at window would have been appreciated so we would not have to use the A/C. Great breakfast!

We stayed only one night in Campeche, but staying at Caltelmar helped us enjoy our afternoon there. Campeche is a beautiful but somewhat sleepy city. We enjoyed a carriage ride from the Central Plaza and it was nice. Castelmar was good value although It included no breakfast. It was a comfortable stay in a good location.
