On arrival the cottage smelt damp and was dark and dingy. We had booked in for two nights and did not bring any supplies with us but never the less we managed The cost of everything here was very inflated but we kinda understood this with its remoteness . Pub food was ok again pricy. Boat trip was ok lovely...

Thankyou for taking the time to give us your feedback. Corinna Wilderness Experience is about relaxing, escaping from the hussle and bustle and enjoying the spectacular untouched Tarkine Rainforest. Our cruise offers a trip down the tranquil Pieman river, all the way to the rugged coast ,on board our lovely historical Arcadia II. A perfect setting to enjoy, whilst listening...

We wanted a base to explore a part of the Tarkine and this beautiful, enchanting village was just perfect! The atmosphere was laid-back, friendly, and genuine - like going back 50 years. And the isolation was a real plus - no phone reception! What a holiday. The meals in the restaurant were delicious, and our cabin was very comfortable and...

We have just spent a night at Corinna. Our plans were open and thought we might spend an additional night but left after the first night as there was very little to do. The weather was cool so not conducive to kayaking. None of the river cruises were operating due to low numbers. If a place like this wants to...

Thank you for your review. The weather here does tend to impede the cruises which are just too expensive to run if we don't have the numbers. Some enjoy coming for the crazy weather, sometimes it just keeps people away. Hopefully the weather will be better if you decide to come back.

We wanted to visit the Tarkine Wilderness area after hearing Bob Brown talk about the unique natural environment. We (fam of 4 including 2 teens) stayed 3 nights at Corinna in the cabins which was perfect. The family cabin (No 5) was well appointed and very comfortable. Days were spent on the Pieman River cruise, walking local trails and kayaking...

Twelve months ago we booked this cruise and paid for it. Unfortunately due to unforseen circumstances we were unabled to make the cruise. Seeing ourselves free this weekend (12 months later) our fare was honoured. We had a great day. Norm and his wife were perfect hosts. We enjoyed a delicious lunch while admiring the beauty of the Pieman River....

Stopped here for lunch, very rustic charm and full of history. Meals and drinks were served relatively quickly and they were reasonable portions served. Staff were friendly and prompt. Prices were reasonable.

Fabulous stay at the wilderness site. Perfect getaway for quality family time without the distraction of modern life technology. Days filled with local walks, kayaking up the river followed by a few beers in the bar and decent food; all served by the excellent staff. The fact the site is self sufficient for water and power makes the stay even...

Spent two nights in a self contained cottage. Very comfortable and clean. We did the cruise to the head of the Pieman River. Thoroughly recommend this trip. Very peaceful and knowledgable captain and deckhand. When we arrived at the mouth of the river we took our packed lunch (supplied as part of cost) and walked up the beach and sat...

My family and I loved it here. It has history, wildlife and peaceful relaxation. Set in a charming and tiny resuscitated ex mining village, our cottage was very clean and easy to inhabit though not quite as picturesque as the photo in my head which was the cottage next door. The restaurant/bar is a truly lovely place to hang out...

We stayed in a cute self contained cottage, that had everything we needed. Tea leaves for the teapot, coffee for the plunger. We were given a bag on arrival with a packet of water crackers, and cheese.
