Farm Cottage B&B was a perfect place to start our bike tour along the east coast of Engeland. We came from the ferry in Harwich and arrived in the evening. The welcome was very friendly with a nice cup af tea or coffee. The room was clean and well-equipped and Andy's house is a very nice place to be. The...

We stayed with our familiy at Andy's B&B the first night after we arrived with the boat in Harwich. The location was excellent and he welcomed us warmly. It's a nice place with good bookshelves, a friendly owner, cosy bedrooms and a wonderful full English breakfast. We stayed there just one night (as most people do, he told, because it's so...

Within the context of what we wanted, Farm Cottage B&B was a perfect choice and is one of those gems you store away for future use. I think we will have to return at some point just to catch up with Andy, the welcoming, friendly proprietor. As a B&B to stay in the night before a sailing from Harwich you...

Friendly, knowledgable host Andy runs a clean and efficient B&B near to Harwich port. The reasonable price included car parking for the duration of our cruise and a taxi to the port and the return journey. Also a full English breakfast (including a coeliac breakfast). I would definitely return if in the area again. The rooms were clean and comfortable...

When we arrived at Andy's just from the ferry we got a fine cup of tea and a laugh. Fine bed, fine ambiance. Only the stairs are a bit steep. Next morning a lovely English breakfast and we were ready to explore England.

A really nice place!!!! Everything was clean, the price was ok, and the breakfast was really good. The room was beautiful and you hace a TV and DVD to see movies, I had some problems with the sound of the TV but was ok.

You are made very welcome at this simple B&B near to the Harwich Port, possibly the only B&B of its kind near the port. Good value for money but don't expect luxury. Free internet and a big selection of DVDs is a plus. Bathrooms are downstairs at the back of the property. Traditional English breakfast. Restaurants for dinner are a...
