We stayed in the beehive at the beginning of May 2017. The room was spotless and the welcome was genuine. There is a hot tub which had been filled but as others have noted, be prepared for the fact that it takes a couple of hours for the wood burner to heat the tub. Once hot, it stays hot for...

Stayed at the Beehive as a birthday treat for my better half ! I decided that we need to tick something off our bucket list - GLAMPING ! Was a bit dubious at first as our camping adventures had not been very good but I needn't had worried at all ! The Beehive was a little haven in the middle...

Having read the site website which sets out the tariff/ facilities available to touring caravans, we called to reserve a pitch. We were amazed to hear that caravans are no longer welcome at this site, due to space having been allocated to other (obviously more profitable) ventures. I am sure all of these are very good, but why advertise touring...

I booked me and my girlfriend a night away in the beehive.. amazing! It's lovely very clean, so much detail and very romantic! Whilst we was there I proposed to my girlfriend and it all went to plan thanks to the lovely staff who helped by decorating the room for me! Staff couldn't do enough to help, and the beehive...

We stayed in the treehouse and it was even better than expectations. Such a hidden gem and the hosts have thought of everything. Our unique treehouse was warm even in early spring and we ventured in the outside shower because it's electric and was hot! We had our own little fire pit and coming from a flat without a garden,...

Stayed here for a night before a party in rickmansworth. Just 5 minutes from the m25 it's also really convenient for Watford and this side of London while in a beautiful countryside setting. Very welcoming and hospitable family, excellent breakfast included. Glamping looked awesome especially the beehive. Would definitely stay again.

I surprised my boyfriend to a two night stay in Squirrel Run for his birthday and I couldn't have chosen a better place! In reality, the tree house is even better than in the photos. I loved all the little touches like the dressing gowns and tea lights. Nigel and Georgie could not have been more welcoming and helpful. They...

Just stayed for 2 evenings at the beehive experience. Felt extremely welcomed on arrival, had the accommodation explained and what was available to us locally. Even offered to be dropped of at the beginning of a walk which leads back to the farm. The beehive is incredibly designed and has everything you would require. Including a hot tub and a...

Myself and my partner stayed here for one night this month for an early valentine surprise. I opted for the squirrel run and We were not disappointed. The treehouse was beautifully put together inside. Huge king size bed, small ensuite toilet, little fridge, brew making kit And, for a bit of an adventure... an outside shower! There was bottled water...

My partner and I stayed in the Squirrel Run tree house for 1 night. Such a unique experience and definitely want to go back to try out the other themed glamping options they have. Must comment on the breakfast, we were brought a hamper packed full of really good food that would suit every breakfast palate and was far more...
