Group visit to our twin town.stayed in room 94 a single on third floor opposite the sauna. Room was adequate but lacked safe and fridge. The staff were friendly and breakfast was excellent but surprised no toaster. Evening meals pricey but good quality and nice service. The best point with the hotel is it's location ten minute walk to the...

Hotel is situated just a short stroll from the City Stadt Plaza. The area around the hotel has many good eating places, Café Schiller, Buffalo steakhouse. The Hotel its self has a very good restaurant, the food was excellent. The rooms are very good, with great sound proofing. Staff very friendly and all could speak better English than my German!...

As a tour guide who stays in scores of hotels per year, the Park Hotel in Traunstein Germany, near Salzburg, Berchtesgaden and Munich, is one of my favorite hotels in Central Europe. Quiet, elegant, outstanding breakfasts and fantastic service at the desk and in the dining room, it is a hotel my clients enjoy very much.

Traunstein is a very nice regional city not far from Chiemsee south of Munich. Lively center with nice restaurants. The hotel is rather classical, taken over by a nice young family. They have attentive staff. Hotel is partly renovated. Rooms are spacey, but we had small bathroom with only shower, some other rooms have bigger bathroom. Nice garden with terrace,...

This hotel is old but clean and has good location. The rooms are big and smart. But for such an expensive hotel you expect a decent wi-fi connextion but it is very bad. For a plus 90 euros pr.night at this time of the year you would think breakfast was included but it is not. So because of the high...

Another place we visit every year for the past 17 years. It's an old building but modernised. Clean & friendly. Breakfast is good and there's free Wifi as in most German hotels. Very good location, it's just a short walk into town.

I was looking for a location which could serve as a launch pad for both my business activities and my recreational pursuits on the weekend. This hotel is very well situated not far - but far enough - off the Autobahn serving Salzburg, Munich and Innsbruck. It is a 5 min. walk to the train station which is well served...

as many others have stated yet this is a historic hotel with a (french) restaurant in the middle of the small city of Traunstein. As in many older German or Austrian hotels they offer single rooms which are ca. 50% of the rate of double room. However such single rooms have only one bed, double room for single use is...

We staid one week in October and would definitely go back. We had excellent service, wonderful breakfast, room was nice (double room) and very clean. Reception very helpful and extremely nice. Bathroom could have been slightly bigger but all in all we enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel is also very central and close to nice restaurants and cafes.

We enjoyed this hotel, within walking distance of the Bahnhof, It is old with great woodwork but it had a modern bath and was spacious and comfortable. We arrived cold, wet, dirty and the staff did not seem a bit disturbed by this. They were quite welcoming. The restaurant was also terrific. I would go back there the next time...
