After arriving from Australia into Gatwick, we drove to the Queen's Inn for our first two nights. New Years Eve when we arrived and celebrations in full swing at this pub - however, after a couple of drinks and dinner, we opted for bed and a good sleep. Our room was small but manageable even with two suitcases and two...

My son and I stayed here just after Christmas. We were made to feel very welcome indeed. The room was very clean and comfortable and the bathroom was too. It was a great place to refresh after a long days walking in the countryside. The breakfast the next morning was just as good. A nice selection in the continental and...

Fabulous starter and then it got even better! Staff were very helpful and friendly and nothing was left to chance.Absolutely brilliant meal.I had the lamb but the burgers were popular.. Certainly posh cuisine but realistically priced.

I'd noticed this place on our way to Tenterden as I thought it looked quite luxurious. It does look far better than the photo's on here show. We stopped on our way back home for a coffee for me and hubby had a half pint of Whitstable Bay blonde lager or beer which I had a sip of and it...

We booked this place on a whim after a previous bad experience at at Suffolk hotel and this certainly made up for it. On arrival we were made to feel welcome and were shown to our room which was quite small but very nicely decorated with a lovely bath and shower room. The bed was also very comfortable. We eat...

We loved everything about this hotel. The staff were super friendly from before we even arrived as we called ahead to pre-book a ticket to get us from Hawkhurst to a wedding venue. Check in was quick and simple. Loved the room right away as the bed was like a ship. It's a very old building so there is hardly...

Welcoming, friendly, amazing. Fantastic food - imaginative menu, beautifully prepared, delicious and served hot on lovely plates. I recommend the scallops and the full English breakfast (not at the same time !). The bar and the hotel are furnished with eclectic pieces that give it a warm, shabby chic and homely air. The bedroom had the most comfortable king sized...
