Lovely place to stay in countryside. We had family room which was very clean but all cushions taken out due to covid. The double bed and single bed need replacement as creaked so much and mattresses dipped in middle so very uncomfortable. However the cooked breakfast was excellant and the gardens are immaculate. Good area if you have a car.
Stayed 4 nights while visiting granddaughter at Uni. The place is clean, quiet and serve a good breakfast. We were to leave early on last morning and would miss breakfast. Brian made us bacon sandwiches for the road. Nice thought. If in the area again we would stay again.
A clean and comfortable room with a soft bed. I was somewhat concerned about this hotel being a little dated, however everything was first rate. Also, their English breakfast was one of the best that I have ever eaten. This establishment gets one of my top ratings.
I stayed here for 2 nights on business, and would most definitely stay here again. On arrival, I was met by the owners Susan and Brian, who, made me mist welcome. The room was very clean and tidy, quiet and very comfortable bed. The breakfast was one of the best cooked breakfasts I have had! I would definitely visit this establishment again. It's the best B&B I have stayed in.
Primrose Cottage – A great little overnight stopover whilst we were in the area. Total peace and quiet in a small village with a busy little pub 100m down the road. The gardens were in full bloom and a joy to look at. The rooms were all very clean and spotless in every way. The price of an overnight stay with Breakfast was very good indeed. We enjoyed a full English Breakfast in the morning which was well cooked using local produce and suppliers. The owners sat and chatted with us for a while before we left and were every bit the perfect hosts , friendly and welcoming in every way. Top marks for Primrose Cottage , the perfect Bed and Breakfast.
