Last minute overnight stay - Sue & Brian were welcoming on arrival. Rooms comfortable, cosy and well decorated with all necessary facilities. It was spotlessly clean and the beds were comfortable for a good nights sleep. Set in nice garden. Breakfast was served to order, freshly cooked and served hot with nice quality ingredients. Sue & Brian were friendly and...

Very clean room with views over the well kept garden. Very quiet surroundings, comfy bed make for a great nights sleep. Breakfast was great and you can't complain at the price. Will definitely visit again.

Another lovely stay. The rooms are beautifully decorated, warm and cosy. Excellent breakfast, freshly cooked to order. Lovely to watch and listen to the various birds visiting the garden from the conservatory. Sue & Brian are very friendly and welcoming. Westhead is well placed for visiting other local places. We were visiting family in Wigan, a 20 minute drive away.

We stayed here overnight and whilst the rooms were pleasant ( but vey cold) and the breakfast was good. We called landline and mobile and sent an email before waiting for an hour for the owners to get back to us to let us into our rooms. Everything seemed to be just a bit too much trouble.

Very good reception from owners and excellent full English breakfast. Stayed for two nights, 25-27th June. Very close to Edge Hill University, and a couple of good pubs within walking distance. Main house is on road to Ormskirk, but rooms are in separate annex building set back from the road, breakfast served in conservatory attached to main house.

We were only staying one night as it was a bereavement, but this little gem I would not hesitate to return to. The gardens and hanging baskets were in full bloom and the accommodation ( separate from the house ) was beautifully decorated. The owners were very welcoming and the breakfast was wonderful. I would certainly recommend it.

Stayed here for 2 nights while working in the area. Rooms were very clean, comfortable and the owners very welcoming. Breakfast was excellent. We were up and at work for 6am and back to B&B for 9am for breakfast, which was greatly appreciated. Thanks

Stayed here whilst on a business meeting and was very impressed! The room was spotless and spacious and i had an impressive nights sleep for the first time in ages. Both owners were very polite and helpful and cooked a fantastic full english the morning after. Set in lovely surroundings i wouldnt hesitate to stay again excellent value for money!

This B&B is tired and smells like a damp old house. Dingy shower room, silverfish found in-between the towels. Bed like an under inflated balloon and noisy neighbours in the next room. Will not be using again.

Lovely cottage, the room I stayed in was clean cosy and comfy. Bed was perfect, fluffy pillows. Bathroom was VERY nice. Tea and coffee facilities were just as you would expect. It was peaceful behind the cottage, just off the main road. With it being separate to the cottage, there was more freedom. Overall really nice. Sue was really nice...
