I awoke to two blue magpie siloettes looking through the curtains to see what all the snoring was about. An early morning dip in the hot springs , birds ,butterfly's,iguanas. Robert one of the brothers... More

I love places like this. Great views, quiet and relaxing, awesome pool, local tourists, just a spot you wish you had more time at. What we didn't expect was the toucan, parrots, Mott motts, bell birds and dozens of other birds. Saw more birds here than Monteverde for a fraction of the price and in a super chill setting. Also... Spent a couple of nights with a group of friends over at Pueblo antiguo and had an amazing time, great hotsprings, good cocktails, tasty food at a very reasonable price. Overall, if you're around this is the place to go and relax any day of the week.

We were one of I think only 3 guests at the hotel. It is low season, which is probably why. They were filling up the pool w/a hose, but it was deep enough to use. It felt kind of abandoned, but the thermal hot spring pools are very relaxing. They make a good pina colada too! Our room was extremely... More

Ihave visited Pueblo Antiguo Lodge every year for the last five years on vacation to Costa Rica and every time I feel that I didn’t want to leave. Its one of the most intriguing place to visit. You can be away from civilization just to be surrounded by mountains, vegetation and the fauna around you. Let along sit on the... More

We made our reservation there as the only lodging we could find in the area. Once we were there we were so glad we had found it and wished we had more time to enjoy the relaxing location, beautiful views and great birding, not to mention the natural hot spring pools. The rooms had double beds rather than queens or... More
