Lovely family run hotel. Gianni and his staff will do anything to make your stay the best. Fantastic food in the restaurant, and great set up for cyclists. The hotel cycling guide, Davide will lead you to some of the best climbs in northern Italy.

I just returned from a seven day stay at Piedmont Bike Hotel. My experience with the staff and my personal guide, Massimo, was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, Gianni and his staff made me feel welcome. Liz, one of the hotel staff was my first interaction with the staff. We conversed over my first lunch, she informing me about the ins-and-out of the hotel and giving me tips. Her cheery and warm attitude was what to come. After my first ride with Massimo, he took time to understand what type of ride made me happy and worked with Gianni to change my program to maximize my experience. He devised new routes, modified existing routes to ensure I get to see and experience the most of what Piemonte region had to offer. He showed me towns that had significance in the region (e.g. Montaldo Roero, Bar, Alba, Barolo, La Morra and Pollenzo). Each time sharing with me the history and context behind the towns, Beside great service, I also gained a good friend with Massimo. I felt he genuinely cared about me. During this trip, I also rode some of the most significant climbs/cols in the region (e.g. Colle del Nivolet, Colle dell'Agnello, Colle della Lombarda, Colle delle Finestre and Colle Sestriere). Nivolet, Finestre and Lombarda are a must-ride cols. I think they are the gems of the area. I take away lifetime memories and can't wait to return. Until then, I have tons of pictures and short clips to keep the memories fresh.

Excellent bike holiday in perfect area for bike rides, amazing and experienced guides which adopt your ride to your preference and ride level. The bicycle for rent are high level Pinarello and are prepared to your measurements. Exceptional scenery and plenty of places to stop for ice-cream and snacks on the way.

Gianni and his family went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. He and his staff were friendly and extremely helpful with recommendations. Gianni also offered to drive us to nearby destinations if needed. They would also check in with us during some of the meals to see how we we were doing. Simply put, they treated us like family. And it shows that the staff like working there. The food at the hotel was also excellent. Many locals go there for their family meals, especially on the weekends. And we loved trying all the different foods at the restaurant. Lastly, we were there for 4 nights on cycling holiday as part of a larger group of hotels called “BICIAMOREMIO”. Massimo is a kind and knowledgeable guide and we learned about the history and architecture or the area by riding with him. The area with its mix of forests, hills and wineries is.stunning. We enjoyed all the beautiful vistas and charming towns including alba, Canale, La Morra, barbaresco. We also Had a great one with the wine tasting, Martini tour and truffle hunting. Thank you Gianni, Massimo and the whole staff for an amazing trip.

Together with a good bunch of cycling friends we visit Europe each year on a cycling trip. The hotel offered a guide, bike hire facilities and a good restaurant - it certainly did not disappoint for our visit in May 22. The hotel could not have done more to support cyclists - great rooms, kit wash, a brilliant guide in Davide, super bike store / clubhouse and having a few of the Giro pro teams stay here coinciding with our visit reinforced our thoughts. Great cycle routes out into the countryside to visit famous local towns and landmarks. The restaurant is excellent with a great wine list. Absolutely loved our visit. Recommend a cycle at the Martini factory, but trust Davide - he knows all the local good stops, coffee shops and restaurants.

Admittedly we aren't bikers, spent just one night and didn't avail ourselves from their restaurant service. On check in we were asked whether we could settle the bill, as we were going to re enter late that evening. Not a problem even though we would still have been there in the morning and could have paid on check-out. Felt somewhat distrusted by a not overwhelmingly welcoming staff. Rooms were smallish but clean equipped with very basic Ikea furniture and older style noisy airconditioner. Bathrooms quite crammed, miniscule shower cubicle but otherwise fine. Very nice the cultivated gardens at the rear, used for wedding venues. Breakfast so and so due to poor selection, Just sliced bread, ham and cheese, cake selection, yogurts, hardboiled eggs, juices and hot beverages. No english breakfast, croissants, fresh pastries, or breadrolls. Location is 40 minutes drive from Turin and provides ample enclosed free parking if arriving by car. Probably a hotel best suited to be enjoyed by locals and those on bike holidays. Good wifi, login credentials are on the room phone we discovered.

We were a team of seven visting the hotel for a cycling tour. We had an absolutley fantastic experience at the hotel. First class service from Gianni, Sara and the front of house team. We were half board and enojoyed great food, wine and wonderful service from the catering team, at fantastic value. The rooms were cleaned daily and the complimentary kit laundry service was superb. The evening of wine tasting and dinner at Gianni's winery was outstanding. Davide organised our rides with well equipped, well serviced, high quality Pinarello bikes, beautiful rides and fantastic local knowledge. He was an absolite peasure to cycle with. We have been on a number of cycling tours, but this has to be our most enjoyable and comes highly recommended!

Already before our travel we received a great service preparing our bikes so they were ready upon arrival. We were a group of 9 people going for a bike holiday. We experienced a great service throughout our stay and had some great rides on the bikes. We would like to thank everyone in the hotel to facilitate a wonderful holiday for us.
