Casa Selva del Mar is great get-a-way that is out-of-the-way, without being too-far-away. Susan and Izzy has two beautifully designed and made cabins that are spacious, comfortable, well-appointed with spectacular views. Casa Selva del Mar is a quick boat ride away from Bocas Town. We had a wonderful time!

We booked Selva through internet. Response from the owners came very fast and so was our reservation request handled. Upon arrival in Bocas we were greeted at the airport by Izzy and taken to the lodge by boat. Both Izzy and Susan were very polite and friendly. The two houses on offer are fantastic: Big and spacious, independent from each...

I like Casa Selva del Mar so much that I've visited twice--once with an adult child in March 2007 and then with my significant other in December 2008. The villas are beautifully appointed with everything one needs for a relaxing stay and the view over the Almirante Bay is breathtaking--wonderful spot for gorgeous sunset photography. We spotted 33 species of...

The villa was beautiful and very comfortable with all the comforts of home. Tours can be arranged through the proprietors. Breakfast was provided with very yummy muffins and delicious dinners were also available on request. The grounds are very well kept with beautiful flowers everywhere. The opportunity to enjoy the ocean was a few steps away with snorkeling and kayaks...

Food was good - (example dinner : lobster caught by the locals that day.) Our hosts were most pleasant , attentive and helpful without being intrusive. The hosts (owners) will ferry you by boat for...

Your hosts are a delightful couple. The eco-friendly accomodations are a piece of comfort surrounded by undeveloped jungle. Accessible only by boat, this island propery is quiet and serene. Internet access was provided by our hosts so that contact with the outside world is still possible. There are no roads, discos, or restaurants, but your gracious hosts will take you...

My husband and two of our friends stayed for three nights and were treated with kind attention and great food served by Susan and her husband. There are only two villas there so you have to make reservations ahead of time to secure your spot. After you have done this Susan is very attentive in getting you a list of...
