First, admittance that I booked for my stay a bit late by holy week standards (I was flip-flopping whether to stay in a hotel or in my partner's home in town). I made the call and was confirmed a room for the duration of my stay. Upon check-in, the receptionists asked if I would like to see my room first...

It was the week prior to Christmas and I facilitated a seminar for a govt office from nearby Iriga City.Macagang Resort seems to be a popular venue for all kinds of occasions in the area. The two days we occupied the smaller function room, a wedding and a debut were held in the ballroom and more were scheduled for the...

This restaurant is located right in the center of the town of San Francisco Nabua. They serve some very nice local food and not expensive. Service is fast and very friendly. It feels like a family operation.

We were staying locally at our own house in town and I wanted to maintain my workouts. We had stayed at Macagang previously and I enjoyed their facilities and the gym. The fitness center is very BASIC with a mix of free-weights and machines. They have two tread mills that are workable but the one treadmill incline adjustment does not...

Stayed for 8 nights in July, found the place overall good and staff very good, experienced my first Typhoon during my stay, scary outside but the hotel and staff were all geared up for it, and with the benefit of their onsite generator there was Hartley any interruption with facilities. Nice clean water park and facilities, will definitely stay again,...

We stayed here overnight and booked four rooms. I must say, the service was great. We were accommodated and given full attention to our needs. Affordable, yet the service was not compromised. They were very linient. Thanks Macagang! And oh, pool access is until 12 midnight only.

We stayed on the "economy" rooms which is priced at P1,500. It might be dirt cheap on some people but it is quite expensive for the locals. The room is quite huge.. it has a refrigerator, tv, dining table and a queen size bed. Refrigerator = it's quite old (like not being used for a year or so) TV =...

“If you are going to choose the economy rooms choose the one that's on the second floor. You can hear and see people at the window of the comfort room and dining area at the first floor (you need to close the windows for privacy specially on the comfort room). It seems like it's a walkway for the staffs at the back.”
