I actually went their August 2014 with my family. My father is originally from Puerto Veijo and my mother from Estrada. I was born in San Jose. I wanted to give my family the tourist experience. We got there late after traveling from Puntarenas and Katherine meet use at the house. She should use around and then left. After she...

Our party of ten stayed at Casa Faya Lobi for a month in January/February this year. We had a great holiday and loved the location of the house between the jungle and the ocean. Hearing howler monkeys at dawn and falling asleep to the sound of the waves. Because Manzanillo is a weekend destination and gets busy on Saturday and...

Part of a group of nine staying at Casa Faya Lobi during Feb 2014, I was reminded of all the reasons I wanted to return: comfortable (if smallish) sleeping quarters complemented by a roomy and well-appointed common living area, with a kitchen that is normally fully functional. A well-maintained garden area attracts colorful tropical birds. Unfortunately, Patricia and Michael were...

I made reservation in March after reading mostly positive reviews and communicating by email with the owner Patricia, who was...

Reviewers seem to mix in assessments of the Faya Lobi rental house in Manzanillo and the Jungle Dreamz rental owned by the same people in the primary forest just of RECOPE Road. During February 2013 we joined three other couples at the Faya Lobi rental house in the village. Important note that completely escaped me until my arrival: you're not...

This was a great place to spend our last couple of nights in Costa Rica. Surrounded by Jungle with Howler Monkeys, Sloths, and a few cool spiders ( non-poisonous and not aggressive) it was wonderful. Laying on the hammock in the evening listening to the sounds of the jungle was sooo relaxing. The interior of the single home has two...

I stayed here with 2 friends for three nights and just loved it. The rooms are basic but clean and airy with comfortable beds and an ample supply of hot water. The central area of the accomodation has a well equiped kitchen and comfortable sofas. We were awoken by the howler monkeys in the morning, saw beautiful butterflys, toucans and a...

We spent a fantastic two weeks at casa Faya Lobi and really weren't ready to leave. The owners, Michael and Patricia, are just great. Super nice people who live behind the house and are available for questions or to offer knowledge of the area but are also super respectful of your privacy. The house itself is located just a two...

I, my husband and our two little daughters stayed at Faya Lobi for 6 nights and finally found ourselves happy and at peace in Costa Rica. It was a life saver after our "Pachamama trauma" in Punta Uva which we originally chose! It is a beautiful home perfect for any one looking for comfortable, clean, well maintained accommodation in Manzanillo....
