From the moment we opened the gates, it was amazing. Tonya and Daniel were the most gracious hosts: fun and full of information. There was a great vibe and they invited us to a garden party. They take great pride in their yard, with beautiful flowers and trees, stone paths, and hammocks. All of this for your enjoyment. We came...

Great hosts. Beautiful bungalows with hamac on the front porch, nice wood floors and cealing . Full kitchen can be utilised. 30 seconde walk from grocery store and restaurants. The beach is great with beautiful sand. Great snorkeling at 5 minutes where the reef is full of life. This whole area is great and is worth a visit.

Sonja could not have been nicer. She, and her husband Daniel, own the cabinas. They truly make you feel at home. It was the "off"-season, so many of the sodas and restaurants were closed. While somewhat disappointing, we still had no trouble finding excellent Caribbean food within walking distance. The beach is phenomenal, up and down the coast. One place,...

I booked last minute at this tropical treasure and was glad I did. It's a lovely casita... one block to the beach, hammock on verandah, kitchen and laundry available, free coffee all day, restaurants closeby, bus that runs along the coast to Puerto Viejo and further north is also a block away. Fair price, safe, very clean, private, and attentive...

This place was AWESOME!!! Stayed here for 2 weeks and could not have asked for a better experience. Tanya and Daniel, the owners, do everything to make your stay an enjoyable one. They are the best hosts you could ask for. I felt like I have made lifelong friends. They do everything from having a pot of coffee ready for...

... and we would always come back. Our cabina was spacious and nicely done up. And we would also like to have such a kitchen in the garden. We loved relaxing on the balcony and watching all the animals who also seem to like this beautiful garden. In the mornings especially birds come around. We saw Hummingbirds, Tucans, Great Kiskadees...

First of all I have to say that you should go to manzanillo and not puerto viejo. It is much quieter, nicer and I guess also safer. If you go there you should definitely stay at cabinas yamann. We were there with a group of four so we had both available cabins, the kitchen and our terraces for ourselves. We...

In our trip to Costa Rica we stayed in all kind of places, from hostel to apartment to tenthouse and this cabina was the best place by far! We were in Manzanillo during the rainy season, so nothing much was going on in the village and when we first stepped out of the bus after a day of travel, I...

We loved this place. For $50 a night, we got the best cabina in Costa Rica. Both cabinas are apart and you feel very secluded in their lovely garden. You're surrounded by wildlife, loads of birds all around the cabina and bush chickens waking you up at 5am! Sloths are in the trees and howler monkeys can be heard from...

We stayed 7 nights at cabinas Yamann and enjoyed it very much. Tanja and Daniel were very friendly and helpful and showed us many animals (sloth, howler monkeys, frogs, birds) and flowers. The cabinas are very clean and spacious and have a lovely veranda with a hamock. The beach and a supermarket are just two minutes away.
