Our first stay here! We loved the setting of the hotel, our room was lovely overlooking the deer park. Surprised there was no evening turn down service and towel change for a hotel of this standard. Tables in the restaurant were too close together particularly in the conservatory. When we came to order dinner the waitress looked at us very...

Dear Guest , Thank you for taking the time to give us some feedback on your stay. We decided not to offer turn down service as most guest don't like to be disturbed in the evening however we would be more than happy to refresh towels on request. I'm sorry that you found the restaurant didn't meet your expections and...

What a place, we stayed in the newly converted annex overlooking the fields, deer and gardens. Steeped in history and supported by a young and knowledgeable "team". Nothing was too much trouble, the restaurant is first class; quality food, wine and atmosphere. The room was excellent, a combination of old school beams from the stable days and comfort, roomy bathroom...

An overnight stay as a Birthday treat for my sons 25th. Was expecting the usual hotel experience of tired rooms and staff to match but how wrong I was ! A crackling log fire greeted us in the entrance hall area and also warmly greeted by the receptionist. Our Rooms were designed and decorated to an extremely high standard and...

Beautiful place, really lovely staff with special mention of Charlotte and Lizzy. Spotlessly clean throughout it has everything. Availing of one of their special deals, my wife was able to have a massage. facial and manicure without breaking the bank. Five minutes walking distance from Burley village, 20 minutes or less by car from Christchurch, Lymington, Ringwood and Lyndhurst. A...

The renovation to this hotel has really created an ideal place to relax and enjoy the New Forest. Everything was very comfortable and functional but still in keeping with the original character of the Manor House. However the part that really made this Hotel stand out from "the rest" was the staff. From the lovely welcome at reception each member...

Spent 4 nights here on a winter/spring break. Stayed B&B in a superior room on the top floor. Very comfortable & well appointed at the front of the hotel (Room 17). Large bath & walk-in shower. Breakfast was good quality and varied. Conservatory dining was lovely on the 2 sunny mornings we had. We booked in for dinner one night...

General - We stayed for 3 nights with our dog Dora. A lot of places say pet friendly but don't really welcome pets, but the staff were over accommodating for our ball of fluff. Hotel Room - We stayed in a snug garden room which was exactly as described. It was very clean the bathroom was a good size. They...

We stopped here for 1 night so did not experience any of the spa facilities. The south facing room caught the early rising sun and looked out upon a large herd of red deer. Extras like food, drinks etc. are expensive. We ate in Ringwood which is about 10mins away by car.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Burley Manor offers something truly unique, with spectacular views of the neighbouring deer sanctuary, it really is set in the heart of the New Forest. Recently fully refurbished it is somewhere you can come to enjoy a tranquil, grown-ups only stay (13 + only), stunning food with Mediterranean influences and most importantly great service. Our individually designed boutique bedrooms are made to feel like home. A sanctuary. Strong, nature inspired colours, antique furniture, eccentric artwork and fascinating fabrics. Power showers, deep baths and warm panelling create a relaxing tone. You can enjoy the perfect night's sleep in our royally approved Hypnos beds, providing pure comfort and relaxation. Our chef's follow the seasons, allowing nature to play a leading role in our menu. It's about a handful of the best ingredients, sourced well, prepared simply, with the help of our wood fired oven, to make the most of their flavours. In the picturesque village of Burley, that is just 10 minutes off the A31 to Bournemouth, you will find this village that is untouched by time, where wild ponies and cattle roam free. With miles of ancient walking paths, there's lots to explore. ... more   less
