My husband and I stopped here for a quick drink – we wanted to see what the hotel was like as we had considered staying here during our visit to the New Forrest. The drinks were expensive (£21 for two) but they were worth it. The hotel is based in a nice setting and if you pick the right table...

I never write reviews on these types of sites, but after our stay at Burley Manor it was the very least we could do to repay them for our fantastic stay! My girlfriend had arranged a surprise overnight stay for the pair of us and according to her the communication with the hotel was brilliant, prior to our arrival -...

The hotel staff if really nice and helpful, especially Louisa who will take care of you at the restaurant if you are lucky. Really quiet and peaceful area for people visiting the area for business or leisure.

While I don't consider myself quite on a par with the Hotel Inspector, I do have to stay away from home for work a fair bit, and so it takes something quite special for me to really enjoy and appreciate the experience. I stayed at the Burley Manor by chance, I was due in Ringwood for a meeting and the...

We visited the Manor on a last minute visit. Considering we booked 24 hours before, we were lucky to get a room. We booked the snug which was all they had left. I was blown away by the size of the room considering it's called "The Snug" Reception was brilliant with a warm open fire and a greeting from a...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Burley Manor offers something truly unique, with spectacular views of the neighbouring deer sanctuary, it really is set in the heart of the New Forest. Recently fully refurbished it is somewhere you can come to enjoy a tranquil, grown-ups only stay (13 + only), stunning food with Mediterranean influences and most importantly great service. Our individually designed boutique bedrooms are made to feel like home. A sanctuary. Strong, nature inspired colours, antique furniture, eccentric artwork and fascinating fabrics. Power showers, deep baths and warm panelling create a relaxing tone. You can enjoy the perfect night's sleep in our royally approved Hypnos beds, providing pure comfort and relaxation. Our chef's follow the seasons, allowing nature to play a leading role in our menu. It's about a handful of the best ingredients, sourced well, prepared simply, with the help of our wood fired oven, to make the most of their flavours. In the picturesque village of Burley, that is just 10 minutes off the A31 to Bournemouth, you will find this village that is untouched by time, where wild ponies and cattle roam free. With miles of ancient walking paths, there's lots to explore. ... more   less
