Me and my girlfriend stay this place december 2016. The place incl. Restaurant looks really nice- we enjoy the pool, beach and restaurant. The staff are very friendly- but very slowly too, you need good time. Food and drinks are very expensive, and no wifi in the rooms- only in restaurant sometimes. Our room was not really clean, water run...

It was a bohemian 50th birthday blast! Matabungkay did an excellent job transforming the sea shore into a chic party place. The band did a wonderful job playing songs from the 60s to 70s and 80s that lasted until midnight. The buffet spread was delectable and the fried suman con tsokolate was unforgettable!

The staffs are very courteous and they provide fast/good service. The resort is generally clean for a resort. Food is generally good and served fast. You won't feel bored waiting. They deliver! Despite the storm that had passed the community, the management provided their best service to entertain their clients.

I have been to this place some 12 years ago and I was surprised with the improvements they made. The rooms were newly renovated and well maintained, there is a new pool and there are wooden cabanas by the shore that make an excellent venue for viewing the sunset. Matabungkay's sunset is probably one of the best in the Philippines....

We found this place to be disappointing. We ran ahead to check we could dive and were assured we could. When we went to the dive shop we were looked at like we were aliens. The workers simply did not want to help us dive and in the end flatly refused. Another dive shop along the beach was also extremely...

After passing tagaytay, I saw a lot of posters of matabungkay including the photo of a girl kayaking and a view of a really nice beach. However, when we went there 2days ago we were surprise because the beach is full plants, rocks and super low level water that smells 🙄. Good thing we went there to just have fun...

Oh so maybe that was the 25% discount for? No water on the beach during our stay. It would do the hotel good if during the months when low tide literally takes the water off the hotel's beachfront, to offer a free ride to nearby beaches instead of the staff promising that the water will return at 2 pm, 3...

Visited with my family towards the end of November. We were 7 and their family superior room is very spacious even for our number! The beach was great, we did paddle boating as well which was tiring but fun. The pools were ok, not heated so they could be cold at times. Overall it was a pleasant visit. The place...

First the entrance. It is not so lively. Entering the gate feels like entering an old 'lola's ' house, where the ghost hunters would like to go and check. Secondly, the hotel is not child and PWD friendly. No elevator and ramps for the stroller or wheelchair. Lastly, the price of a bottled water and a drink in can sums...
