Nothing you'd expect from a four star rating. We stayed at the Tree lodge, which looked fabulous in the pics, and in reality, looked as if it hadn't been stayed in for over a year. Stairs falling part, lights missing, dirty soap and face wipes...More

The road is passable for normal vehicles. The nearest shop is around 25km from the lodge (Pick n Pay). River Camp is fabulous for self-catering. 6 can sleep and it is only R 1 120.00 per night for the whole chalet
