We had our wedding here on New Year's Eve. From The moment that we viewed the venue until being the last ones to leave every single member of staff were amazing, Hayley the wedding planner was brilliant and was a huge support every step of the way. The venue is beautiful the food was out of this world and every...

We went here for my cousins wedding & decided to book a room & stay over. Check in was easy, staff were friendly & the rooms were more than ample for what we needed. It was a bit noisy at times but then there was a wedding on. The food was extremely good considering they were catering for so many,...

We stayed here for two nights on business, the rooms are ok but the restaurant service can be extremely slow. We ordered breakfast on the second morning, after waiting nearly 30 mins we had no choice but to leave the hotel or risk being late for our morning appointment. Disappointing.

We spent one early January night in this wonderful hotel, full of character and charm. The staff were excellent : very attentive and helpful, and the full breakfast was magnificent. Value for money was incredible (£60 for double room including breakfast) but maybe this was because the hotel is in the middle of a major room refurbishment programme ? Lovely...

We arrived on a cold winter's evening to this hotel. The staff were very welcoming and as it was between Christmas and New Year we expected it to be quiet. It WAS quiet but we were told they were full up that night. we didn't hear any other guests that day. We didn't eat at the hotel that night as...

A bit of England in a beautiful setting. Room was out of Homes and Garden with the charm so lacking in Travel.....s and Pre....... In... The evening meal was delicious in a lovely dining room which was quiet enough to hold a conversation. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were the most polite I have encountered for a long while....

Best thing was the breakfast, the room was stuffy, one window was sealed, the other rotten and dangerous to open. Once open there was alot of fast traffic noise from the busy main road. The Hotel is virtually on an industrial estate although it looks nice enough in the pictures. A fierce Guard dog is quite intimidating when walking in...

While I can never quite understand why a guest feels the need to leave two reviews when one should surely suffice, I do find it incredulous that someone would go out their way to take a photograph of the (private) grounds compound and publish a picture as if it had any relevance to their stay. We do have an under-the-stairs...

The only downside to the Howfield Manor Hotel, possibly, is its distance from the heart of Canterbury. But even that could be a plus. It's a lovely, historic inn a couple of miles (15-20 minutes' drive, depending on traffic) from downtown. The rooms are really, really comfortable; it's almost like staying in a really nice home. Staff were all very...

Arrived to an empty car park, but a warm welcome. Very good room (4), but bed/mattress a bit too firm. Very good menu- check out the bar menu for variations. Only draft beer was lager, but bottled pale ale was excellent- whitstable bay. English breakfast perfectly cooked & best brown toast I have had in a long time.
