We arrived at half past 4 as we could not check in until five which is inconvenient as we had a wedding to attend. Check in was easy and at first look the rooms looked nice. The beds were comfortable. The shower was broken and lacking in power. Although there was a great looking bar and beer garden neither were...

Apparently the owners have the place up for sale having put their company into receivership. Pub and restaurant closed. B & B being 'run' by the daughter..we booked for two nights but would not recommend. Our room and bathroom were not cleaned during our stay, and everything needed an overhaul. The room was grubby and the duvet thin. The TV...

The check in time is listed as 5-8 which is quite odd and not especially helpful. We tried calling ahead but there was no answer - We thought we'd chance it and turned couple of hours early. The place was locked up with a note on the door with a number to call (only between 5 and 8!) but Stephanie...

We booked this very last minute as couldn't get a room in Canterbury. The room was a good size but the bed was not. Advertised as a luxury double, I failed to see what was luxury about it. The carpet was dirty as we're the windows. The room smelt of stale cigarette smoke and as a previous guest mentioned in...

Welcome to the B&B where poor service, constant noise, cramped rooms and an obnoxious attitude to guests is justified by the phrase 'it's what we do here'. Do yourself a favour and book a travel lodge/premier inn and a taxi if you attend an event here, at least you'll have half a chance of getting some sleep and you'll probably...

Lovely looking building but we were disappointed with the room and service. There was a lack of attention to cleanliness in the room and the stairway (we stayed in the main building). There was no flexibility with breakfast time - everyone served at 9 like it or not. The cooked breakfast came with scrambled egg (no cereals served), when asked...

A friend booked their wedding here and although it was detailed as flexible and 'all about the bride and groom' it certainly is not. Please be warned that the discount available if you fulfil the criteria is something Steve 'can' offer and not something he 'has' to offer. As a result a last minute additional cost and stress was passed...

Our wedding at the Three Tuns on the 18th October 2013 was fantastic. We had a wonderful day with our family and friends at this superb venue. Steve and Donna the owners of the venue and event organisers are excellent at what they do. True professionals. We live in Staffordshire so only made a couple of visits to the venue...
