Stayed for one night for a break....lovely owners .really friendly. ..beautiful breakfast. Perfect for peace and The owners cats were really cute if you don't mind animals. We just stayed in room most of the night and had a few in the bar. Locals make u feel welcome. Would definitely recommend.

Stayed here with my husband for one night for a wedding, and I would definitely come back here again! Don't pay much attention to the photos on Trip Advisor, they don't do the place justice. It's a charming traditional country pub that has been in the owners family for several generations, and the room/ suite my husband and I had...

We stayed due to a wedding at Sandburn Hall and the owners went out of their way to be helpful in getting ready for the wedding even offering us travel to and from the venue at cheaper rates than the local taxi firms. Our room was at the front of the pub and very clean and comfortable. This place is...

Visited 25/3/17 for a nearby family wedding (beautiful day!) If required Stuart the landlord will take you to the Hall and pick you up - quite a unique service This B & B is simple, rooms are tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. There is a motley assembly of dogs and cats which would not be for everyone but we found...

The bedrooms and unit were well appointed and we were all able to have an excellent breakfast together at the inn. The landlord kindly brought us...

We stayed this weekend and it was absolutely perfect. I booked the Thompsons Arms for our anniversary, as a surprise and we had a fantastic stay. The location was perfect for us, a short distance from park and ride for York and the Air Museum. It honestly felt like a home from home and little touches made such a difference. We...

Just got back from an overnight stay at Thompson Arms after attending a Wedding at nearby Sandburn Hall,we could not fault our stay ...The owners were welcoming on our arrival and the rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean with the most comfortable bed I've slept in in ages!
