If you want to leave the busy real world behind, this is the place to go! We were received by Austin and a blond dog called Flash. We were offered a pre-cooked meal, fire wood and a choice of where to set up camp. The ablutions are well tended and well stocked.

I have travelled through the Baviaans before, earlier this year with a group of friends on motorbikes and promised myself to return with more time to explore. Return I did, with wife, son and his young Lady who were on a visit from the USA to see more of our country. We chose to stay for 2 nights at Duiwekloof... More

This is the second time we have camped at Duiwekloof. The facilities are improved with massive showers and hot water ( could be a bit hotter ). The camping sites are perfectly grassed with the entire area spotlessly clean and extremely well maintained by Austin and his assistants whom are most pleasant to deal with. They take great pride in... More

Very comfortable accommodation with all self catering requirements, just no ability to make toast. Austin and Cynthia were very accommodating and assisted with every need right down to a birthday cake! Wifi should be included or less costly. The breakage deposit should also be more clearly advertised on the website. Great place for the kids to run free and excellent... More

An entirely good experience. Beautiful setting. Absolute peace. Unobrusive staff yet everything needed is provided. Great bird life with an ongoing cacophony of bird calls and baboons barking in the hills around the camp. It is a special place. the accom was beyond comfortable with all sorts of tasteful touches. Cool and comfortable. I will be back.

The beautiful and tranquil setting is complemented by attention to detail and a passionate staff. Recommend a stay of at least two nights to explore all the hiking trails or just to relax in the rock pool

What a beautiful place! Such a lot of attention to detail. The Duiwekloof team was friendly and helpful. The rooms are beautiful decorated, clean and neat and warm in the cold winter. The dinner & breakfast were tasteful and special. We had a wonderful time at Duiwekloof.
