Very poor customer service, was told we were aloud to check in at 2pm and after being on site with no staff there we were finally told (by text) they'd be an extra hour. Didn't actually get into the room for a further 2 hours after "check in time," after travelling nearly 3 hours this wasn't ideal. The room was...

A nice quiet local pub. Friendly staff and a great fish & chip van turned up outside and we ate in the pub - a great idea as the kitchen was closed in June as chef was on holiday. Pool table and dart board available (although couldn't play as you need bring your own darts :-/

In a nice quiet area, nice spacious rooms. Downside is all the pub customers take up all the parking in the car park, would be nice if each room had a reserved space, especially after travelling around in the car then coming back with no where to park. Everything appeared clean apart from it wasn't nice to find big bugs...

We had a nice stay at The Bell Inn in Helmdon, a small village with few lodging options. A continental breakfast with very generous portions was provided, enabling us to use some for sandwiches for lunch that day as well! Only negative was that Wi-Fi did not work in the room, only in the nearby pub.

Stayed at the Bell last night (9/08/14)as we had a family birthday in the area and what a find, beautiful accommodation consisting off three separate converted outbuildings, very tastefully decorated all self contained with tea/coffee making facilities, microwave oven toaster and larder fridge, a selection of breakfast items, such as bagels, croissants, bread for toast and a selection of meats...

We revisited the Bell over the Easter weekend 2014, our second visit. Again we were not disappointed. Good room, good breakfast, excellent location for Silverstone and very reasonably priced. Although no food in the evening there are pubs in nearby villages that do good really good old fashioned English pub grub.

We have now stayed at the Bell Inn on two seperate occasions and i would recommend it to anyone. On our first stay we had a double room, this was amazing, very spacious with a modern design, lovely comfy king size bed, table and chairs and a large en-suite wet room. The shower is very powerful and loads of toiletries...

A lovely welcome from Richard when showing us to our room. There are 3 chalet style suites in the car park at the rear of the pub. Our room was a double en-suite, very well furnished, spotlessly clean with every comfort provided for. The room we had was suitable for the disabled with large wet room and alarm facilities. There...

Was a tossup between the premier inn and here due to a Silverstone track day I had and I was very pleased that we chose the Bell. To be honest, I dont think the photos on the website do the place justice and could do with being updated. The village is lovely, peaceful and in a lovely rural setting. The...
