I stayed in the Tundra Rose cabin on the way to Valdez and in the Glacier View cabin on the way back from Valdez. Both cabins had excellent views and nice decks to sit outside on and enjoy a beverage. The cabins are comfortable, clean, and reasonably priced for what you get. There is beautiful scenery in the area and...

Travelled May 2015. What a beautiful place overlooking the Matanushka glacier (although from a little far away). We were en route to Macarthy and reached the place around 11 pm and it was fortunately still not so dark. The place in itself is so amazing and we had two cottages at the place and one of them had a direct...

We absolutely loved our stay at Tundra Rose. It was rainy when we arrived and we were booked in a cute little cottage down a little walkway, however as the owner had no other guests for the night we were there she offered us a larger cottage that was a little easier to get luggage to. It was absolutely gorgeous....

This was the best lodging we experienced in Alaska. We actually spent time in our "tiny house" cabin drinking coffee because the view and space was so amazing. They provide fresh coffee beans and a grinder for coffee making. I sketched the view from cozy cabin. And I was amazed at the amenities, cleanliness and modern conveniences provided in a...

Thank you for your kind words! The Glacier Overlook is the perfect cottage for enjoying a lazy morning or afternoon while sipping on a good cup of coffee. Glad you were able to take the time to sketch the beautiful glacier and mountain views. We hope to see you again if you are ever in our area again.

Our family of 4 (2 teens ages 19 & 16) stayed in the Berries & Blossoms Suite for 2 nights while exploring the Matanuska Glacier area. The 2 bedroom cabin was perfect for us with a lovely view of the glacier right outside the front door. Having a speaker in the suite was a nice amenity. Did I mention it's...

We are happy to hear that your family was comfortable in the Berries and Blossoms suite. It is the best option for families- especially ones with teens that like their own space. Thank you for staying with us!

We stayed in the Berries and Blossom Suite ... upstairs over perhaps a garage. It is a nice Suite, though a little strange. First the floor is shaky ... it's not clear what's underneath, but it certainly could use a bit more strengthening. Second the roof line is a bit strange, so that the bathroom ceiling slopes inward, particularly over...

Thank you for taking the time to review us Steve. I find that when guests don’t make the reservation themselves , they may miss some information about our property or not get a chance to view our FAQ page. I believe you were with a party of 4-5 adult Alaskans and someone else reserved. I see from your profile that...

The place is really well maintained. Everything, from the restaurant to the cottage, to the decoration on the wall, says the owners care about it. It is a great stay, sitting on the deck, looking at the mountains... I hope we could stay longer. We did see a couple of doll sheep on the cliff area of a mountain cross...

We stayed alas only night but enjoyed our cottage the "glacier view" a lot!!! Great location "in the bushes" of the garden, wonderful view, peaceful, quite large, very comfortable, very clean and best of all: with themed decoration this cabin is turned into a little Alaskan paradise. From all our accommodations during our roadtrip in Alaska, this was for sure...

Thank you for your kind review and we are happy to hear that the internet was speedy, as we are always working to improve the connectivity. Because of our rural location, speed has always been an issue, but it is improving through our provider and we consistently strive to make it better. We do not plan to sell our cottages...
