Firstly we will definitely be back. The standard throughout was just superb... staff, rooms, food, atmosphere - all 5*. There is handy onsite parking, wifi throughout and the food is at the highest standard (as you can see from my photos). We thoroughly enjoyed breakfast during our stay and managed to catch dinner here too which was delicious. I would...

Lovely experience excellent food - puddings to die for. Hope to visit again soon. We stayed here as a base to visit the Midsomer Area which my daughter and husband who live in Germany wanted to see. Was an ideal choice.

Stayed here for one night on business. Warm friendly greeting on arrival. Room was spacious and super comfy. Food was as close to fine dining as you'll get in a country pub and very reasonably priced. Breakfast (included in the price I paid) was stunning, hats off to one of the neighbours who provides the eggs directly from source, best...

We stayed for one night in September, and found the welcome to be warm, the bed to be comfortable and the breakfast divine! Asparagus and red pepper on my veggie full English were both a surprise and a delight!

We stayed in a family room on 19th July for 2 nights and were very impressed. It has lovely clean rooms and the breakfast was one of the best I have had whilst staying at a B&B. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. This place is a hidden gem!

I booked this place for myself and a friend and we could not have been more delighted with the choice. The staff were friendly and attentive and the pub had a great selection of drinks and food. The rooms were beautiful, clean and really well stocked. None of those silly tiny bottles of shampoo and conditioner instead (and far more...

I could not fault the Red Lion Pub & Kitchen! The staff could not do enough for us! Excellent food and service we will be returning soon! Rooms are highly decorated with very comfy beds for the perfect nights sleeps. The pub is loved by locals and new comers we are looking forward to planning our next visit.

The new owners of this pub have absolutely ruined it, they only want people in to eat and positively discourage people who just want to drop in for a quick meal when out walking, this is a village pub and most of the villagers and locals don't go there anymore, a big disappointment on what was a fantastic village pub
