I tried ostrich and it was delicious the way it had been cooked. I did look over with envy at the large steak my husband was having and the duck dish the 3 year old was eating. It was a lovely lunch with our French friends and their family. Child friendly too. Been there before and will certainly go again...

The meal was for eight people and was enjoyed by all. The staff were attentive and the meals, which covered various dishes, were all served at the same time. Surroundings were convivial and the restaurant whilst not full had enough diners to show that it was popular. Food was of a good quality and beautifully cooked. Whilst fish options were...

Mixed feelings about this hotel. The decor is dated and the hotel could do with an upgrade however it is only a two star albeit it has a pool, bar and restaurant. The room was a decent size, the bed very comfortable, it was clean and the linen smelt lovely. However, the hotel is on a main road which lorries...

Our room (Number 4) was a good size with an extremely comfortable bed, well soundproofed and we had an excellent night's sleep. We had a warm welcome from the owner, and pleasant, efficient service in the bar and restaurant. The hotel has a friendly and delightfully unpretentious atmosphere, and the breakfast was fresh and plentiful. The real treat was our...

We stayed 3 nights to be near our daughter and son-in-law who were house hunting in the area. It looks like a pretty standard Logis de France from the outside - on the N21 in a rather nondescript lttle place north of Thiviers, on the main train line from Paris. Do not be put off - at the back of...

We were searching online on our last night of self catering in a chateau nearby for somewhere to eat as we were leaving early the next morning, the top 6 local restaurants where full and finally we found this one, given that we had no real choice we booked a table here. The service was good, the food was amazing (I'm...

Honest, unpretentious food. We had the menu du jour and it was all very nice: cauliflower soup; veal; and chocolate brownie - I generally loath brownies, but this was very nice - neither heavy nor too sweet. The daily menu is fantastic value and, based on this experience, we'd happily try the more expensive ones next time. Staff pleasant. The...

Looking for somewhere with an excellent menu so we could enjoy New Years Eve, we decided on Les Voyagers. We had stayed there in 2011 and enjoyed their menu so checked out their menu for the 31st Dec. Looked good so we booked and also decided to spend the night as it is about an hour from where we live...

We stayed for one night whilst searching for a property. The room was comfortable and clean. The menu was mostly local specialities. The food was interesting and well prepared and excellent value for money. The owners were very attentive and the staff friendly. The Croissants at breakfast were amongst the best we have ever had in a hotel/B&B in France.

Stayed one night whilst travelling home from Pyrenees. A friendly welcome. Helpful staff and a very welcome beer on the terrace overlooking the pool - which I sampled gratefully - it being a very hot day! I would caution against the pool, however, if you are not very agile. Entry is via steps which are very large indeed and I...
