We stayed here in 2016 and explored the nearby towns of Auxerre, Avallon and Vezelay. Our hosts Steve and Chris were really helpful and friendly and couldn't do enough for us suggesting places to see.The local Boulangerie provided fresh croissants each morning. Wonderful holiday.

We spent a weekend visiting Arcy-sur-Cure, Cravant, Irancy and other charming villages in Burgundy, staying with Steve and Chris at their very cosy and quiet B&B with great rooms and special French breakfasts. Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful. They gave us plenty of good advice about what to do in the area and shared funny comments about being...

We had a late January mini break in this beautiful region of France whilst visiting the wine festival at nearby Irancy. The accommodation has been lovingly updated, creating cosy and tastefully furnished and decorated rooms with spotlessly clean en-suite shower/bath rooms. Steve and Chris are extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the area and made us very welcome. The breakfasts were...

We stayed for two nights from friday till sunday in the B&B from Steve and Chris. We arrived later then we expected on the friday, because we had a delay. Stayed there four days in a group of 10 adults and children. Steve and Chris made us all feel very welcome with advice and enjoyable conversations (not to mention political and philosophical insights and some good old British humour). We felt like we were visiting with friends. We all enjoyed the cool down in the pool on a very hot...

We stayed for one night from Saturday to Sunday. Rarely have we met such warm and helpful hosts on a vacation stay. The place was utterly charming, the price reasonable, and we even got picked up at the train station in Arcy-sur-Cure by Steve. We would definitely go back if we are in the region again. Anders

Chris and Steve made us feel very welcome. The rooms were just what we needed, we had tea & croissants for breakfast and were able to relax in the backyard with a book while my 5 year old son explored & searched for bugs! We did not have time to use the pool as we had a short stay planned...

How kind of you Lyndsay. We thoroughly enjoyed having you here, and of course would be delighted to see you and your family again. Perhaps you'll manage to get out jogging next time. With kind regards to you all, Steve & Chriss

Steve and Criss offer a very clean, comfortable and charming place, at a good price. The hosts are very warm and friendly, and engaging, especially if you like to discuss philosophy and politics. The continental breakfast was a bit skimpy, but adequate. Over all, this is a very nice place. We would definitely go back to it, if we're in...

Thanks to Chris and Steve for their warm welcome, interesting conversation and sollicitude. The room and bed were very comfortable and we appreciated the availability of tea and water in the room. We were even able to borrow towels for the pool. There is a definate sense of being "invited" into the hosts' home.
