We spent 7 days at Hyatt Ziva and can’t share enough raves. Rooms - very clean, new and well maintained Staff - every person was beyond friendly and kind Food - terrific. We especially enjoyed Mercado (buffet) for breakfast, Japanese for dinner (sushi one night and hibachi another) The extra plus to a great place has a name - Bladi. Bladi kept us up to date and never missed a beat. He handled our kiddos like a champ and spoiled us all. We have stayed at a number of all-inclusives, and this was highest of standards. Well done, Ziva! 😀
Excellent stay! Highly recommend for families. Not one complaint. Tons of things to do and all staff were above and beyond helpful. Waterpark was the kids highlight as well as the sailboats. Entertainment was always exciting and fresh.
We travelled as a group of 8, including 3 children aged 4-9. And this resort was absolutely perfect for us! We all booked club ocean view rooms. The rooms were nice and spacious, with lovely views, stocked with snacks, water and soft drinks. We stayed for 12 nights so got to experience everything the hotel had to offer. During the day we took advantage of the kids club for 1-2 hours depending on the activities, we also used the water activities available for free on the beach (paddle boarding, kayaking etc). There are also activities for adults on the Zilara side which we took part in (hat making, painting). In the evenings the kids really enjoyed the just dance time after dinner and the shows (the Lion King and circus were a big hit). Food wise, there are so many amazing options! Plenty of seafood, pizza, salad, ceviche so there was something for everyone. My son has a severe peanut allergy and I felt very safe there even though there are peanuts on a few of the menus. As we travelled with kids, on a few occasions we got take out from the Zilara side and ate together on the balcony. One of the food directors Julio was a great help to us with bookings. Also highly recommend Martin at Brando's who was incredible! The Mercado buffet food options were great and staff all great (especially Carmen, the vegan station guy and the juice guy) but for us Chinola was our go to for breakfast, the view and and made to order buttermilk pancakes (off menu) were the best. There is an on site coffee shop (Coffee republic) which has ice pops, delicious donuts, cakes, pasties and tea / coffee all day long which were incredible! Although we booked club, the main pool was best for us with young kids. Arelis and Karina take such good care of all guests by the pool and brightened our days whenever we were by the pool, really lovely and friendly ladies! The spa is a must for all that visit, we each had a relaxing massage which was one of the best we'd all ever had! They will find evry ache, pain, knot you have and make it disappear within the hour, so so good! Also Juan at the spa was fantastic, he guided us through the water therapy wonderfully. My only few gripes are the rooms are a little damp and on the second to last day I had my sunglasses stolen in the Chinola bathroom whilst helping my son in a cubicle (just to add this was not anyone from the hotel staff!) Do not hesitate to book, its an amazing place!…
Fantastic vacation with our family and two other families. Excellent people, service, food and endless fun! We’ve been to several all-inclusives and easily recommend Hyatt Ziva. The staff was warm and friendly, can’t say enough about Bladi, Pedro and Cristopher!! We celebrated a birthday and the extend they went to to make us feel special was spectacular. ♥️🎉🎂 Highly recommend, we did not have one negative experience in our 6 day stay. While the views and scenery are amazing, the people are even better!
Christopher and Bladi were amazing butlers! We traveled with two other families where we had six rooms to celebrate college graduations and birthdays! Both of them were amazing and always available to our group everyday and checked in several times to ensure we had what we needed. Thank you for the amazing time and making fun memories for our FRAMILY!
