Welcome to Beiras, in the middle of Portugal at Philip and Maria. (13061AL) Our place is at a distance of 15 km from the impressive Atlantic Ocean. Here you can enjoy the sun and surf at Praia da Tocha. Staying with us guarantees a calm and peaceful holiday in the midst of nature, vineyards, pine forests and eucalyptus. Our Casa Nana is centrally based for all your excursions. The region offers a great variety of nature and culture. We have information about the places of interest and of course we like to share our personal experience. We also have free Wi-fi. We hope you learn about Portugal and enjoy the encounter. We can host 6 people. Each room has its own TV and mini-bar. One room (de Torrekes) has its own shower and toilet. The other 2 rooms share a large bathroom. Linnen and towels are replaced every other day. Our home is A NON SMOKING AREA, including the balconies. We also have a dog, Neuro... Information on the area, nearby and further away are available. We advise you to rent a car (see Links), as Póvoa is not mentioned on the map of Portugal. For the sportsmen and women amongst you, we have a ping pong table and bikes available. I had a lovely night staying at Maria and Philips! The hosts are very friendly and caring. Also willing to give their time and get to know you. I would be more than happy to stay there again. A wonderful place to stay in the classic Portuguese countryside. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. Rooms are very big and spacious all the house makes you feel welcome clean and tidy with a personal loving touch. Definitely take the breakfast as the landlords will a great effort to satisfy you. Sitting in the back garden looking at the olive trees an listen to the crickets singing.

We had the room for four people. Everything was as expected in a self-respectable B&B - beds were firm, room clean, breakfast good and plentiful, towels changed regularly. Location is suitable for exploring Coimbra, going to the nearby beaches and countryside around or simply enjoying the tranquility and local food. On top of that are Maria and Philip lovely, heartwarming, knowledgeable and helpful hosts, always ready to help with advice (both local and general about Portugal). Four days at Casa Nana was like staying with the family. We would definetely choose to stay there again. Thank you so much!

The whole stay at Casa nana could not be better A great house, in a great spot with a marvelous couple to become friend with! Breakfast with homemade jam is absolutely recommeded. I would come back without hesitation.
