Helpful staff and manager. Simply the best place to stay in the valley if going to Aconcagua. Service providers close by for baggage drop-off and/or pick-up for mule transport to Plaza de Mulas or Plaza de Argentina.

Was automaticly placed in this hotel as it was a part of our journey towards Aconcagua, aswell as a night stay after our hike. The rooms are decent, but the food.. The food here is the best I had all around Argentina! The salad, several of the main courses and the desert all went down as a new record breaker...

We stayed here before and after our climb on Aconcagua and really enjoyed it. It's just a short ~15 min ride from the Aconcagua Provincial Park Entrance. Steve the owner really made us feel welcome and is a great host. It felt more like staying at a friends home that a hotel. The menu in the restaurant is amazing for...

Outstanding hospitality. Food was great, all staff very friendly and helpful. Have stayed their twice and never had a single problem. Rooms are always clean, food in restaurant is exceptional, buffet style breakfast is ideal.

This place is great. The rooms aren't fancy, but all of the essentials are there and the food, drinks, staff and views are incredible. Order a large beer and find the back corner of the sitting area for a very zen, relaxing experience...then have a beer with the owner, wake up early and head to the mountains!

Me and my friends stop by every summer, at least once, to go hiking in the area. This place was a disaster until the new owners took over and they’re doing a great job. Real dedication at work here, especially considering the terrible Argentine economy, but step-by-step they’re getting it right. Great food, simple, clean, comfortable rooms, hot showers with...

I stayed at Ayelen for a total of four nights. I spent three nights there before my climb, spending two days hiking to around ~3900m in the nearby hills for some pre-acclimatization. The great meals and warm, comfortable rooms at the hotel were perfect for beginning my trip. After my climb I checked in for a single night. A hot...

Stayed here before and after my Aconcagua attempt. The service and atmosphere are absolutely unparalleled. I can't personally say enough good things about the owner (Steve) and his staff. The food was outstanding and the breakfast provided every morning always started the day off right. The rooms were warm and comfortable and it was evident the amount of work that...
