I have now had two bad experiences at Siolim House. First time I booked for my sister in March. She was coming out from UK with her husband and daughter, and when she saw the room she burst into tears ! It was smelly and dark and hot and the AC machine was dripping onto the floor next to an...

The House and location are perfect if you're looking for a place with plenty of local character and charm. For one, you'll stay in 3-400 year old rooms. The walls are thick, the windows are large and old-fashioned, the ceilings are high, the rooms are big and airy, the loos massive. Although the place has been restored, evidently with great...

This place was very impressive visually. To die for rooms (we stayed in the Macassar suite) and bathroom, also the pool was beautiful, surrounded by palm trees. Dinner was excellent, breakfast was good with fresh fruit. Loved the location and the yoga in the morning. The staff was reserved but helpful.

We stayed here for 3 nights and had a great time. The house is beautiful and has a lot of character. Our room was spacious and the bathroom was huge! We enjoyed spending time in the courtyard and by the pool. The location was good for us as it was quiet but within easy driving distance of some of our...

Me and my girlfriend stayed here in Jan and had a most relaxing time, Aljai and the staff are warm, friendly and helpful. There are plenty of places to unwind and sit quietly. The rooms are spacious and furnished with beautiful throws and furniture. I was reluctant to leave most days as I was happy idly passing the time by...

We stayed in Garden suite last week, it is newly constructed suite in an authentic villa. To start with some positives. Property is great and staff including the manager were polite. All good ends here. We checked-in at evening already some hours late and found that electricity was not there (just imagine I would have sit for 4-5 hrs without...

Dear Vaibhav, apologies for the unfortunate experience on the first day without electricity in the afternoon. I checked and there was a large outage on the cable to the Garden house on that day, and apologies for the staff confusion on that day. none of the things you mentioned are pleasant to say the least. however as you know living...

We just loved this hotel and it was just what we needed after New Years on the hectic Baga beach strip. The House is spectacular, the pool totally inviting and relaxing, the food is to die for! (authentic Goan cuisine, home cooked and fresh each day) and the staff just wonderful. To top of this majical stay, we happened to...

The rooms are spacious as is the rest of the place. The swimming pool is adequate if you not training for the Olympics. The breakfast is reasonable and the staff is super efficient and helpful. The location might be a problem for some because it's neither near the beach nor near any restaurants/party places. If you like the quiet, this...

Beautifully restored heritage hotel. We enjoyed a day at the cookery school run by the hotel - going to buy fish, chicken (not for the faint hearted) and heading back to the nearby villa run by the hotel to cook several dishes. The room, Macassar, was beautiful and the bathroom almost ludicrously enormous. Staying at the beginning of October, there...
