    Do not expect luxury but rather an ancient and charming setting. As another guest wrote, expect one or two spiders. After all, you are in the middle of a beautiful countryside in the heart of a breathtaking vineyards area.     We arrived here after cycling from Bordeaux. The garden is just lovely with little areas to sit secluded and enjoying the shade. As we were the only guests, we were moved to the 13th century self contained unit, which was very spacious. Dinner was delicious, and 7 courses, including aperitifs and wine. Breakfast was more than 5 people could eat...

    This is a lovely place if you are an older couple who just want some peace and quiet and like old things. Older host who smokes a lot and swears in French under her breath- things break when you touch them so caution. Absolutely amazing food and no where to cook so you may as well ask for the table...
