    Do not expect luxury but rather an ancient and charming setting. As another guest wrote, expect one or two spiders. After all, you are in the middle of a beautiful countryside in the heart of a breathtaking vineyards area. Good breakfast including tea/coffee, toasts, bread, butter, homemade confitures/jelly, hard-boiled eggs and ham, yogurt, orange juice and cake. Lovely host, Brigitte,...

    We arrived here after cycling from Bordeaux. The garden is just lovely with little areas to sit secluded and enjoying the shade. As we were the only guests, we were moved to the 13th century self contained unit, which was very spacious. Dinner was delicious, and 7 courses, including aperitifs and wine. Breakfast was more than 5 people could eat...

    Have just returned from a seven night stay at this beautiful old Girondine house and l want to tell all! First our host, Brigitte an interesting, intelligent, helpful lady who did so much to make us all comfortable and feel totally relaxed.     This is a lovely place if you are an older couple who just want some peace and quiet and like old things. Older host who smokes a lot and swears in French under her breath- things break when you touch them so caution. Absolutely amazing food and no where to cook so you may as well ask for the table...

    First time in France & loved it,the area was beautiful with tree's, vineyards, beautiful scenery and such friendly people. Our host was so helpful & friendly, she made my parents feel so relaxed on their first holiday abroad.
