My three kids (ages 14, 13, and 10) and myself stayed at the lovely Margarita room, which is not only spacious but cozy, and it even has a small indoor patio. This room is located by the pool (it is promoted as a heated pool, but is was cold). The gardens have a wonderful variety of plants and flowers. And...

My wife and I visited Malinalco for a friends wedding. We stayed for 3 days and it was an amazing, relaxing experience. Margarita the owner is very helpful, kind and showed us great hospitality. Together with her daughter and niece maintain a wonderful place in the middle of the mountains (as it means in Spanish the name of the hotel)....

The hotel is really beautiful. Ful of fruit trees and a very well designed garden. The pool is not big but is enough to have fun with the kids. The breakfast is included and is not "a continental breakfast" is a very good and well done traditional mexican breakfast with regional bread and "a la minute" made juices. We felt...

Incredible place and experience. I went with my girlfriend, since our arrival we were warmly welcomed by Margarita (the owner), she showed us our room, which was a "troje", cozy, clean and beautiful. Just what we expected (based on the photos and other guests reviews). The pool area is surrounded by a garden with beautiful sights and vegetation. The breakfast was...

There where some motorcycle people the little pool, consumimg I dont know what... So we went to check the room that did not correspond AT ALL to the description...

Malinalco is an incredible little jewel with an amazing history. Down an almost hidden road at the base of a picturesque mountain is, Casa Navacoyan. The antique wooden doors hide and protect a property that feels like a sanctuary. Three generations of remarkable women preside over this jewel. After you enjoy a 3 course breakfast of the freshest local ingredients....

We just returned 2 days ago from our stay...I miss it already! It was so beautiful and relaxing. The owner, Margaret was so sweet and helpful, as were her daughter and grand daughter. They helped us greatly with our horrible Spanish. The breakfast every morning ( it is included in the price of your stay) was the best we had...

It's hard to find the words to describe the Navacoyan experience. Hostess/Owner Margaret has created an environment that encourages privacy but allows interaction with others. This is our second stay at the Casa and, if possible, it was even more fun and relaxing than the first time. We were greeted by Margot (Margaret's niece) with her perfect English and abuela-trained...

Just outside the sweet mountain town Malinalco is this refuge from the world. Immaculate, lush grounds and pool are surrounded by a hacienda and a few cabins. Ours was very old and roomy, with charming decor and atmospheric lighting. The bathroom has had a chic update. It was unusually chilly in mid-January and there was no heating in our cabin,...

The place is beautiful... there is a huge garden and every detailed on the property is cared with an exquisite taste; the rooms are really nice and clean and you can see the owners hand in every little detail. Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Nestling at the foot of the Ascension hill and located on the outskirts of the designated 'Magic Town' of Malinalco, this characteristic Mexican residence is only a ten minute walk from the town's historical centre and sights. Totally remodeled and refurbished, the complex is composed of two barns ('trojes' which are age-old purepecha buildings, Marta and Margarita), two double-height rooms with beautiful views across the gardens (Maria Rosa and Guadalupe), two en-suite bedrooms on the porch of the main house (Teresa and Graciela) and a small two-floor apartment (Nachita). The entire complex has been individually and carefully decorated to the highest standards to ensure a relaxing, restful atmosphere. The spacious gardens contain fruit trees and manicured lawns surround the heated swimming pool. A common area (Don Ramon) has been created for use by guests where visitors can play, watch television, read or simply enjoy the scenery. ... more   less
