Gorgeous hotel with outstanding views BUT: The reservation is made in Quito where they speak English. Only one staff member, at best, speaks English at any time during the entire day. Breakfast begins at 6am BUT most people leave for excursions and/or the ferry between 5-6am, therefore there is little to NO breakfast for those people even if arranged for...

This hotel is at the end of the road, right next to the actual iguana crossing. It is right by the path to the giant tortoise rebreeding center, which is very interesting. The hotel itself was clean and modern with terrific views of a beautiful beach. There is a small pool and a nice rooftop area with even better views,...

This place is amazing!! The rooms are the best we had on our whole trip! Isabella was the smallest town of 2500 people on the largest island. I loved this island. Main Street still had sand roads, marine iguanas all over the beach, pink flamingos, beautiful birds. Etc. this hotel is within a few blocks of town but at the...

I visited Iguana Crossimg with a open room looking to the Pacific Ocean, very light, with a system of regulated water in the shower to save water. Great breakfast, swimming pool and close to national park.

We stayed for one week in Iguana Crossing. As we were travelling with our 2 kids we booked the suite which was great for a familiy of four. It was very spacious and the view from the trerrace was just great. We loved the locaton. It is the last house of the village of Puerto Villamil. It is situated on...

My wife and I stayed three nights on this hotel for our honeymoon. We had a great stay. The room was nice and light, the service was good, and the location was good as well. This is a very nice high-standard hotel to stay in!

Pedro, the manager is such an ambassador for the Island and his hospitality made our stay wonderful. The locations is perfect. The pool, the ambiance is paradise. The beach and sea are like a postcard. The lagoon behind the hotel is complete with flamingo. The location is just enough out of the way that one feels a bit secluded. The...

I would like to give this place a glowing recommendation, but there were a few things about it that keep me from giving it five stars (actually, I would give it 3.5 stars but that isn't an option). We originally planned to stay at the Albemarle but we were steered away because our stay coincided with "Carnival" which was right...

We stayed 5 nights on Isabella and 5 nights on Santa Cruz and did not do a liveaboard boat cruise. THis worked very well for us as it gave us much more independence. The hotel is located at the edge of town (village really) and is only 2-5 minutes walk from the local bars and restaurants. Isabella is a laid-back...

This hotel is great - especially for couples going on a romantic trip. Its right by the beach, has a great pool and service is exceptional. The hotel also does a great job of organizing all daily trips/plans if you need it.
