Say Lom is just off the water when you arrive in Muang Noi and is a great place to stay! We had one of the stand alone bungalows and it was clean and spacious for just around $5 usd/night. The staff was polite and helpful and they were able to do our laundry which was great. There are a lot... More

Simple & basic, but absolutely all you need. Clean and comfy! The hammock is nice to chill in and the panorama view from there is simply great. Friendly owner. Very cheap (we stayed during off-season though), but no breakfast.

We got off the boat, and while we usually ignore the salesmen/women who try to get you to their place when you get off the bus/boat/train, the location right at the river and boat landing, as well as the price of 30k Kip for a double room (and a hammock!) convinced us. You cannot argue what we got for that... More

What takes this place above the competition is the happy, friendly couple who run it. They often come out to greet the boats and invite customers – go with it – you may have to beat others to it if you want a room! The location is perfect, just up from the boat landing, so no need to carry your bag... More

Very friendly staff, something not overly common in muang ngoi! Hard working, grounds kept clean, clean bedding, bathroom, etc. I paid 40k for a room, great value . It is in a noisy spot however with the Boats but don't think there is any avoiding that in muang ngoi

No need to look any further for accommodation in Muang Ngoi. Say Lom is about 20 steps after you leave the boat on your right hand side. We viewed another guest house first but came back here as the room was large, the view over the river from the balcony of bungalow #2 was great and it was only a... More

Simple, basic but just right and at 30000/night one can stay for days and days if only one had taken enough cash! There are no ATM so if like me you fall in love with the place only lack of cash will make you leave. Make sure you take the boat (should not be more then 10000, to share between... More

Due to Travelling in off season she was the only woman at the pier waiting. I decided to stay there after seeing the room. Big, warm shower (after a few minutes waiting), and very comfortable beds with mosquito net. In off season it is really cheap from 30 000 to 40 000 kip depending if you are willing to bargain.... A lovely family run guesthouse. Just half way up pier steps to Main Street. Take a minute to the pier or ticket office. The owner family always smiles with guests. We are lucky to have the last bungalow though it is located at the back and without river view. The room is clean and with mosquito net and fast wifi.... More
