We arrived to be welcomed by Valerie and Franceso (mispelt?) who were 2 of the nicest people I have ever met and so helpful. The house itself is beautifully decorated, clean. tidy and very stylish; we had a lovely room with comfortable bed and good sized bathroom. On our hosts recommendation we ate at a local restaurant 600m away (food excellent). Breakfast consisted of croissant, fruit, meats and cheese as you might expect. Francesco planned a tour of the area for us so we could see the local sites and we were on our way. Can't recommend this place highly enough

Torre del Borgo looks like a big house, when we arrived. We were welcomed by a chique women by the age of approm. 70 years old, she was still wearing high heels. She was very kind, and she gives us the key of the house, she said my house is your house. In the night we were the only persons, in the house. So quiet. Nice surrounding, lovely nature. The room was clean and very classic designed, but very nice decorated. In the morning a special women served the breakfast , with fresh made baked bread, local products , like confiture, meat, cheese, very special. The owner of the hotel advised you also about shopping malls, restaurants and she said you can get discount , if you shown her visit-card. Nice place to be.

Torre del Borgo is a lovely, away from the tourist track, place. It’s run by a beautiful couple who will put your happiness as priority. My son and I spent 4 nights there while exploring the Emilio-Romano area of northern Italy. On arrival we were greeted warmly by our hosts who took a real interest in our needs and showed a sincere concern that we would enjoy our time there. We were overwhelmed at how authentically restored this beautiful old tower was. The attention to detail was clearly evident, which along with good taste and dedication resulted in a bed and breakfast that was a pleasure to stay in. We stayed in the ‘Daffodil’ room. Again, the attention to detail was clearly evident. It was impeccably clean and every thought had been put into the rooms comfort. The bath towels etc were monogrammed with the tower symbol, along with quality toiletries. Something you only normally get in five star hotels. We found the room small, with little room for our suit cases, which was important as were touring Italy for four weeks. This issue was, however noticed by the maid on our last night there, who organised a second case stand for us. So in hind sight, I probably should have mentioned our suitcase/space problem earlier. The breakfasts were really amazing, with freshly baked bread, an assortment of cheeses, local meats, cereals, yoghurts, jams, fruits and fresh coffee. We only mentioned that we enjoyed a certain local fruit once in passing and it appeared on the breakfast buffet the next morning. The room where we enjoyed breakfast was a delight and resulted in a lovely way to start the day. Most importantly the owners were supportive and helpful in a way that went above and beyond the call of duty. We had an issue with our car rental company who wouldn’t give us winter tyres (even though they knew we were driving up into the Tyrol to Ichgl in December). Valeria spent a whole day searching car rental companies trying to solve our issue as she wanted to make sure that we were safe. Together with this care and attention to detail Valeria has a ‘Torre del Borgo’ loyalty card that gives you a discount at a range of great places and shopping outlets. In summary, Torre del Borgo is a wonderful place to stay. It’s beautiful, caring and really quite central in an area of Italy that is rich in history, castles, food and shopping.

When you arrive in Torre del Borgo, you'll find a very nice restaurated building. The rooms are very good as well. The owners are very keen to advise you in exploring the area, just ask them what you want to see. And then the breakfast.... Wonderful! The housekeeper Francesca does not only a good job cleaning the rooms, but she prepares a fantastic breakfast with fresh and real quality products. The salami, panchetta and coppa are true delights!
