We live very near. We have lived near pubs before. Extreme arguments before or after closing !!! No consideration and therefore we will hopefully sell. If anyone asks we won't recommend!!😡think of your village

We had some time whilst at a superb wedding in Somerset so snuck out for a cheeky beer or two. Nice little country pub in what is quite a quiet village, good selection of lagers and asked and a very friendly barman. Worth a visit.

Very popular today, which is nice to see. Clean and tidy. One person at our table was sat awkwardly on the end as they tried to make room for quite a few tables in a small area; so a little uncomfortable. Starter and main were good value for money and very generous portions. The only thing that was unfortunate was...

Very friendly hosts. Rooms ok but could be cleaner. Found a pair of shoes under the edge of the bed so wondered how long they had been there without being noticed when room was being cleaned. Also no cold water the following morning (which was needed for shower) so a bit of a pain. However fixed as soon as we...

Nice food - friday night is fish night. Not overpriced. Good beer. Friendly staff. What more do you want from a pub? I'm continuing this review because Trip Advisor won't accept reviews of less than 200 words. Why use 200 words when you can say what you want to say in less??

Friendly welcome with a good hot meal served by very nice lady cook. Bedroom very basic, bathroom door falling off and very thin curtains, but comfortable bed. Bar music turned off at midnight. Breakfast - no sign of the usual fruit juice, cereals etc, straight to cooked full English. Sadly soft furnishings in bar badly worn out Back up steep...

Had a twin room and breakfast. It's basic but clean and comfortable, friendly Landlord, amazing breakfast. For the money good value and if in the area again, I would book again. Lovely area, scenic, some of the country lanes are a bit scary, especially if you meet a car coming the other way.

I stayed here with my partner before going to Glastonbury. The staff were welcoming and friendly, giving us advice for local amenities and catered to my vegetarian diet without hesitance. Free parking is a bonus with plenty of space. The rooms were clean and I had a great night sleep. Would definitely come back again!

Great find in friendly village with very welcoming hosts, and they accept dogs - very happy with this. The bed was very comfy and the room was furthest from the pub and was nice and quiet (except for other guests coming back at 3am one night and waking everyone up) . Easy to find and excellent value for money. Breakfast...
