After a 25km ride on a gravel road we reached the best location during our Garden Route round trip to Cape Town. Spacious and modern rooms with horses direct in front of your windows, excellent dinner and exciting activities (horse riding even for beginners, pick nick at the 3 km beach and dune Safari tours). We will come definitely back...

We spent three nights in this wonderful cosy location after driving appr. 20+ kilometres on a farm track but it's worth. Our room was one of the ocean view chalets with a chimney which we could see from the bed, very romantic. We also ordered massage in the chalet, very convenient. It takes a moment to get to the beach...

We've had the pleasure of staying at Oyster Bay Lodge for two nights. Two nights would be the absolute minimum in our opinion to take in the sheer beauty of this place. We stayed in the Luxury Chalet, which gave is a private chalet with a fireplace stocked with plenty of wood, a huge standing bath tub integrated into the...

Amazing place to stay, Amazing staff, would like to go and visit them again soon. The wildlife, beach and accommodation was like nothing I have experienced in a long time. If you do decide to go, go for longer than just one night

We stayed at Oyster Bay Lodge at the start of May 2013 as a group of 10 comprising 4 couples and our 2 children, aged 9 and 12. Our room was spacious and very comfortable with a wood fireplace in the bathroom (which was needed on cold nights). The drive in was almost 20 kilometres of not so well graded...

This is the type of holiday where you go to get away from the pace of every day life, it starts off with a challenging drive (the dirt roads are not the best) through to the lodge where a warm welcome awaits. The lodge itself is situated in an isolated piece of bush, perfect for some privacy. I would recommend...

The lodge is about 10 minutes walk down a path and along a river away from the beach. It's pure nature with big dunes, a lagoon and a pretty fierce bunch of waves blown onto the beach. It's off the beaten track and a bit on the wild side. There is plenty to do. We went horse back riding, rode...

I stayed here for 3 nights. This is my third visit. I stayed in one of the chalets. The location is fantastic. Lovely walk through the sand dunes to a deserted beach. The food is amazing. Every meal a delight. Great value for money wines. The service is excellent. Nothing is too much trouble. This place really is well run....

We stayed for 4 nights as part of a Beach and Bush family holiday. My husband and I were both celebrating birthdays and as our young adult children were both in the country and able to join us, we decided on a 4 day beach then 4 day bush holiday. Oyster Bay Lodge proved the perfect place to start our...
