Where can I even start with this one? If you are looking for WILD... this is where you will find WILD. There are no other words to express this place but just pure WILD. If you're interested in birds, mammals, or just want to experience the real African rain forest, the opportunities here are endless! In just over a week...

Sangha Lodge is one of the best places I have stayed anywhere in the world, it will make your trip to this remote corner of central Africa. Set in a small forest clearing in the heart of virgin rainforest, the lodges are beautifully bucolic hardwood cabins, complete with verandas, mosquito nets and well appointed bathrooms, and the (lovely) restaurant and...

I recently visited Dzanga Sangha National Park in Central African Republic. This must be one of the top wildlife destinations in the world. You may know it from BBC wildlife documentaries or National Geographic magazine. Despite travel advisories, this small corner of Central African Republic appears safe and stable. I stayed at the wonderful Sangha Lodge, run by Rod and...

THE place to stay to visit Dhanga Sangha national park. Great location with wonderful views. Comfortable cabins and lounge/bar area. Very tasty food and friendly helpful staff. But, ABOVE ALL, wonderful hosts in the owners Rod and Tam who took great care of our group, organised all our activities in the national park and are experts on the area and...

I stayed 2 nights at Sangha Lodge the last January 2017 and I found it an exceptional and unique place! I think that Sangha Lodge is the best place to stay for visiting the unique Dzanga-Sangha National Park. The Lodge has an incredible river front location with several large and confortable huts with incredible view on the river wildlife. The...

Rod and Tam and their staff went out of their way to make us feel like this was truly our home away from home. Good food, comfortable, clean lodging, good conversation and extraordinary surroundings all made for a wonderfully memorable visit...not only with the rich and abundant wildlife but also with the BaAka Pygmy people who welcomed us warmly and...

We did not know too much about Sangha Lodge before arrival since it was not in our original plans. End up there was such a stroke of luck. Service and Beauty of the place rival each other in outstanding standards. Each late afternoon, after visiting the pristine natural wonders of the region, we had a cold beer facing the most...

We are very glad you had such a great visit, we do our very best to have all who come here experience the best of the rainforest in as much comfort as is possible in this remote place. Despite all that has been written about Central African republic, we hope people will understand that Dzanga Sangha is an outpost of...

If you dream of remote locations with pristine rainforest around you, lovely and interesting people and good food, Sangha Lodge is a must! We stayed 4 nights there, visited Dzangha Bai and enjoyed Rod and Tam's hospitality.

We recently returned from a week's stay at Sangha Lodge and Dzanga Sangha Park and all we can say is 'WOW!". The setting of the lodge is absolutely stunning and simply unlike anything you'll find elsewhere in Africa, with huge curtains of pristine rainforest extending down to the mesmerizing river. The lodge's location in a small clearing at the edge...

We (my husband, myself, and our 9 year old son) visited the Sangha Lodge in July 2015 and highly, highly recommend it. It's as good as it gets in the region and while you shouldn't expect luxury (the rooms are very nicely done, but ultimately wood huts with screens, beds under mosquito nets, and a desk), you can expect the...
