We stayed in one of the cottages and found it clean, cozy and very comfortable. It was well supplied and a very good value. Lovely, peaceful setting, well-kept grounds, modern cottage decor. The laundry was a bonus. The bed was comfy; we slept well and were able to prepare breakfast in the well-appointed kitchenette.

Everything you would need so comfortable.peaceful location handy to view the Penguins at curio bay. The grandchildren enjoyed the games to play.only downfall was Internet access we had our daughter who was managing accomodation and needed to be contacted after hours but we managed.Great hosts would certainly return again

We stayed here only one night, but wished we had another day or two. Peaceful setting with view of the Bay. Close to attractions. Fully equipped unit with fridge, stove, micro.. There is a restaurant 5k's away. Need reservation for dinner. Best to bring food as no grocery store in the area.

We stayed for two nights as a couple, only using the "Boat Room" - large double bed and ensuite, of the Harbour View house. We heard nothing from the owner, prior to our visit, as to where to collect keys from but managed to contact her by phone on the day. Good cooking facilities but the pots, pans and utensils...

We stayed in Tois Tois and found it clean, comfortable, nice bed, Wifi was a bonus, albeit you needed patience. Forewarned we had bought food for supper so we relaxed with the amazing views. On retiring we took advantage of the electric blanket. In the morning there is a Rinnai gas heater if it is a bit chilly. We would...

We travelled with set of twins, one tetraplegic and two adults. Waikava catered seamlessly to our needs. The modern bright Harareke cottage had awe inspiring views and soothing dawn to dusk chorus of native birds. And the rice cooker worked a dream.

We had a really disappointing stay here before Christmas, which was disappointing given the great reviews on TripAdvisor, which we tend to rely on when making accommodation choices. I normally don't write reviews but I felt I owed it to the TripAdvisor community. Let me start by saying that the location of these chalets is amazing, with solitude and amazing...

Very nice accommodation especially with a large group. We were traveling around New Zealand with a group of 11 in our extended family. Renting the lodge and one of the cottages suited us just fine. The surrounding area is beautiful and peaceful. Don't miss the hidden fern forest!! Keep going back past the house and there is a large lot...

Thank you for taking the time and effort to post your feedback and comments this is very much appreciated! Yes the WIFI can be marginal at times due to the satellite internet connection, however it is an extra service we provide for our guests to stayed connected. Kind regards Judy Leith

What a find, sensational setting and what a stunning part of the country. If I review the area itself, I cannot fault it, breath taking and the wildlife, walking tracks, water falls etc are out of this world. For overseas tourists I cannot recommend this location more. BUT this review is about the accommodation. Yes it is in a beautiful...

To Meir 782 Thank you for your review of your stay at one of our cottages at Waikava Harbour View recently. Rented both chalets. Had problem locating where the keys would be. Tried all 3 numbers left but got no responses. Just managed to work out to get to museum and pick up keys before lady left there. One Chalet smelt very musty and had mould on curtains, daughter with asthma couldn't sleep there. Lovely place though
