    Middle of Nova Scotia. Slim pickings for lodging near the big "Keji" National Park. Sharon runs a decent place, no frills, decent rooms and kitchen, parking on site, very quiet. We spent two nights there, with most days in the park on hikes or tours.

    This is the place to stay when cruising around southeast NS. We rang around looking for hostels, we were directed to Caledonia country hostel and Sharon and Dan were so helpful. Then when trying to plan therest of our trip, staying in other places Sharon gave us lots of info but because of the wonderful hospitality we decided to stay...

    I stumbled upon this hostel quite by accident ... thinking it was in another part of the province. Beware that Nova Scotia has 3 towns called Caledonia - this one is in the western part of the province, just a few kilometres from Kejimkujik National Park. A quiet, rural setting, wonderfully run by Sharon and Dan and their sweet cat...
