I cannot say enough good things about this place! The staff were amazingly attentive and always helpful. They often greeted us by name and asked how the activities we had done that day went. The only slightly weird thing was they said we needed reservations for dinner at the onsite restaurants, but then there was hardly anyone else eating there. That being said, the drinks and lunch/dinner options were good, but the breakfast was outstanding -- a buffet of essentially anything you could want! We stayed for 3 nights and booked several activities through the hotel. We really enjoyed the thermal pools and swim up bar, and there are nice places to lounge outside in the shade as well. We also booked several excursions through the hotel, and the process was easy, and all of the tour operators were knowledgeable. It was easy to get into La Fortuna by Uber. We were able to get to and from the La Fortuna waterfall and restaurants pretty easily. This place feels very secluded despite being just a few minutes from town and being right on the road.…

We want this to be our 2nd home. The best hospitality we have ever encountered anywhere. Everyone was wonderful. We were greeted with drinks and a cold towel when we arrived. Reception desk helped us plan all of the amazing activities. Every server was thoughtful and meticulous. Words can’t describe enough how much we love the Royal Corin.

We loved everything about this hotel! The staff was friendly, the food was amazing and something we looked forward to every morning for the free breakfast and evening for the relaxed dinners, and the facilities were kept very clean. We will stay here again if we visit La Fortuna. The best part was coming back to the hotel at the end of the day and getting into the thermal pools. It was nice to relax in the water and gaze up at the stars. The restaurant on the 5th floor had such a beautiful ambience and the staff treated us to a special dessert for our Baby Moon! We did not expect it but they really went above and beyond.

Very nice hotel that was a disappointment at check-in. They didn’t give us the category room that was requested and told us that since we used American Express travel and they use Expedia that they couldn’t really help us then they tried to charge an additional $800 to get the category of room we originally thought we were going to get when we came, which we didn’t do. The staff was all very helpful and pleasant, and did their job well . The TVs should have upgraded by now they were all very small and all old and none of them were smart TVs.

The Royal Corin was one of several hotels we stayed in during our holiday in Costa Rica, and it was our standout favourite. The service was impeccable, from the moment we arrived until we left. The room had a great view of the volcano and although there was a little noise from the road, this wasn't an issue for us. The thermal pools are outstanding and the food, both at the pool bar and the two restaurants, is excellent. Breakfast is a buffet and offers everything you could wish for, all fresh and beautifully presented. The hotel is a short distance from La Fortuna and it's worth getting a taxi to town for a wander around this buzzing little town. There's a variety of tours on offer that you can book via Reception. We chose the night tour and also the volcano hike and La Fortuna waterfall visit. Both trips were excellent with great guides, although we preferred the volcano/waterfall which was a fabulous experience. It's really difficult to fault our experience at the Royal Corin. If we ever make it back to Cost Rica, we will definitely return to this lovely hotel.…

Wonderful atmosphere. Very comfortable room with a fantastic view of the volcano. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The pools were relaxing and very enjoyable. I didn’t know I could have taken a cab into the local downtown area. That would be a recommendation. Even without leaving we had a wonderful time.

This place was just incredible. It’s located just down the road from the town of La Fortuna and in the shadow of the volcano. You check in on a couch and are immediately brought a beverage. I cannot overstate the level of service in this hotel - you are treated like royalty by everyone. The rooms - quite nice if not fairly basic. But each room has a balcony with a view of the volcano! The pools - this is where the hotel truly shines. The main pool is so warm and wonderful and has a swim up bar. Next to it is a cold pool and a slightly less warm one. And around them are smaller hot tubs of varying hotness. There’s lot of spots for lounging. Restaurants - the breakfast here is buffet style and spectacular. So many options including an omelette bar and a juice bar. There’s two restaurants for dinner with different menus. The one on top of the hotel is slightly fancier and has nice views. But the food at both were quite good. Lunch we usually had poolside and it was lovely. The spa - if you come here and miss the spa you are missing out. Not only was the massage amazing, but there’s a whole area just for spa guests with hot springs, saunas, and cold water stuff too. We spent all afternoon there - even had food delivered! The gym is located near the spa and you can reserve it for yourself at the front desk. They had a lot of good equipment. Tours - the hotel will book all your tours for you and there are so many options! Don’t miss the hanging bridges tour. You can go yourself via Uber to stuff for cheaper.. but having a guide means you don’t miss anything. Overall this is an incredible 5 star resort that I would love to come back to!…

Amazing staff, beautiful location, wonderful hotel. Guests were treated wonderfully and hotel was very clean. Multiple hot springs pools to relax in after a day exploring. Hotel is also happy to help you book excursions. Pictures do not do this hotel justice it is stunning. We will be back!

We stayed 3 nights at the Royal Corin. The hotel is lovely, clean and comfortable with great views of Arenal volcano and close to town. We ate at the Lava restaurant which had a lovely ambience and delicious food. Shout out to the drink master, JOSE, at the swim up pool bar. He mixed up cocktails and served our Imperial beer with a smile. The staff we interacted with were courteous and very helpful. Cristopher at the front desk and Kristal (breakfast and pool bar) were kind and lovely. Very impressed with the breakfast buffet and choices. We would definitely come back!
