My husband and I visited yesterday with our Golden Retriever. We were made to feel very welcome. We both had traditional Sunday lunches, mine being beef, his lamb. You certainly wouldn't get hungry here, the portions are not small and the presentation was beautiful. The dog didn't get left out either, lots of dog biscuits! Beautiful pub inside and out...

To be honest we were disappointed. Lots of olde worlde atmosphere and charm, but frankly the food is awful. The staff are friendly enough but the place was empty with only a handful of others eating with kids earlier. 8.39 pm and the place is empty. Not surprised. Won't be coming again.

What a lovely find this place was. We were greeted by very friendly staff, the menu offered a great selection, the beers were good as was the food which took a while to come but well worth the wait as you could see and taste it was cooked to order. We will certainly return.

We were staying in Northleach, Cotswolds, for a long weekend with friends and went to The Inn at Fossebridge on Saturday evening. There was a very friendly welcome from all the staff and we were seated by the log burner which was very welcome on a cold evening. There was a little bit of delay in the food coming out...

We popped in for lunch on the way back from Cirencester on a cold, misty day. Service was friendly and attentive. Broad choice on the menus but not so extensive so you would think " how much of this is fresh?". It was cold outside which made it difficult to be warm inside but the fires were trying their best....
