We are actually ensconced in The Owl's House now and it's great - wonderfully spacious, spotlessly clean and with the most glorious views of the sea. It is utterly tranquil and although the weather isn't good, somehow this doesn't matter. Gordon and Edwina are charming hosts and already we are sorry that we are only here for a week. The...

What a find this B&B was by My partner Lisa. Secluded enough for peace and quiet, which in the summer in Cornwall is often hard to find. But importantly only a short car or bus journey away from key tourist sites. You can even walk the beautiful coastal path, which we did, which was well worth the effort and justified...

We stayed in the Farmhouse with our son aged 6 on a B & B basis. From first contact, Edwina was helpful and accommodating. After a very long journey, we were greeted warmly and shown to our room, a lovely large, light and airy room with a double bed and a single bed for our son. It was very clean,...

From our first telephone conversation to arrange the booking I found Edwina to be most helpful and accommodating. On arrival we were treated to tea & freshly baked scones. We stayed in Knight's cottage but had breakfast in the farmhouse as well. Gordon had kindly left basic supplies which saved us precious shopping time - dishwasher tablets, washing machine sachets,...

We stayed in the B&B at Tregurnow, which is separate from the self-catering. We received a warm welcome and our hosts were incredibly friendly and accommodating. At the time the place seemed a bit dusty, but it was very early in the season. The character of the house with its lovely traditional details, and the huge rooms, more than made...

Very accommodating and friendly hosts who made us very welcome at their beautiful, traditional farmhouse. Well worth the slight trek off the coastal path to get to. Found it easily with GPRS although we did end up going the long way round. As it was Sunday and nowhere to eat Edwina kindly made us a lovely supper and charged us...

We were a group of six friends visiting to attend a production at the Minack Theatre and couldn't have found a better place to stay. The B and B accommodation was a delight as were the scenery and our hosts. It was a beautiful warm sunny day when we arrived and we were provided with freshly cooked warm scones, jam...

These self catering let's never fail to impress. Set in a stunning location which is both peaceful and beautiful. The owners are friendly and knowledgeable about the local area. There is always a beautiful homemade cream tea ready for you on arrival which is very welcome after a long journey. The lets are well equipped and a real home from...

Tregurnow is a peaceful haven - far from the madding crowd. It it is very quiet and the rooms were really lovely. The whole place felt welcoming and warm despite the drizzly rain. It is a great place to locate yourself for may of the coastal villages and towns. and a welcome retreat in the evenings. Breakfast was good with...

If you're walking the south-west coast path, this may be of interest... Although we had GPS and had uploaded maps, we still found this tricky to find surrounded by tall hedges and very tucked away. The directions given by the proprietor from the path said 'follow the tarmac path' - which tarmac path? They knew because they lived there. There...
